Hi guys, have some of you fellow carens owner encountered this problem

I would really be worried if the rust formation comes from the car's body or chassis. I still haven't checked mine though. Will do later.

I havent notice visible rust build up on the body and under chassis when i had my 10k pms last feb, medyo mahirap din silipin ngayon ang under chassis pag indi na lift up eh.

Hindi pa naman pero mabuti siguro gamitan mo ng rust converter ( Turco yata brand name - sa mga hardware meron nun ). Then pintahan mo na din para hindi na maulit.

PS mukhang maalat ang hangin sa inyo ah. malapit ka ba sa dagat

Biruin mo loob na ng cabin yan kinalawang pa.

Di naman malapit sa dagat, but last year, i brought the car to Roxas city to visit the grandparents of my wife, eh malapit sila sa dagat, ilang hakbang mo lng ay dagat na, baka dun nag simula ang kalawang, nag roro lang kami from bacolod to iloilo, pag uwi namin dito sa bacolod, i have the car body and underchassis washed but di ko talaga naisip na baka sa interior naman ng car magkakaroon ng rust, hay...

superficial lang yung rust.. nothing to worry... just wipe it with a clean cloth ok na yan..

guys, finally nagawa na rin aircon ko. at hindi sa signet nagawa. sa KIA PAMPANGA pa!

tama diagnosis nila, MAGNETIC COIL ng compressor. they diagnosed the problem on a saturday. tapos sila na may initiative mag order the part for me. then dumating part from the factory within the following week. then went back there the next saturday (para hindi na rin ako mag leave sa work).

when i was shopping for the car in 2007, pinagmalaki nila (kia pampanga) noon na sila nag champion ng inter dealer mechanic's olympics ng kia. obviously, magaling nga mga mechanics nila.

and also, mga service advisor nila, magaling din talaga. look for Jerome Magtoto (0927-8384158) and Michael Espiritu (0921-954-4477). magaling talaga kia pampanga!

then good.. let's patronize these service centers... also let them know what the power of internet can do.. here in tsikot we can have an idea how a service center caters to their customers and the customers will gladly patronize them for such a good service...

but to those service centers that sucks big time.. lets stay away from them..

i also have a good experience with kia congressional.. that is why even if i'm coming from las pinas, i went all the way there to have my car serviced.. even though they are far, still i will go to them for a good service

Sir vinrem my caren will be celebrating it's 1 year sa 28 May at sa roxas din ako nakatira,,kung nadaanan mo ang gaisano when you went there last year sa may back side lang kami,..so far so good sir walang rust na nakita si missis noong pinacheck ko ang part na yan..even if superficial lang sya,,good as new parin....so sure ako hindi galing sa hangin ng roxas yan

.....the only problem with my caren is the services we get fron Kia Iloilo,,,
almost a year naring di nagagawa ang blinking glow light ng heater ng caren ko,,,so annoying talaga,,,
anyway sir ang kalawang nayan ay di galing ng roxas,..minsan sa moisture lang din yan ng loob ng sasakyan,so always use your aircon to avoid it..

actually malayo nga eh. although si kumander kasi taga angeles so we could probably time it kapag nauuwi. hehe.

although i will visit nga kia congressional soon. who do i look for?

tama ka yapoy, let's use these boards to spread the word of good service centers. hindi naman lahat sablay. meron din naman talagang nagtratrabaho ng matino kasi alam nila mabilis kumalat maganda AT masamang balita. this is what we can do as consumers. make them value us because we give them business, not the other way around.

D bah dalawang gaisano dun, sa gaisano city kami pumunta, yung sa downtown branch nila, nag lunch lang kami and then nag proceed kami sa Agoho...dun nakatira kasi yung grandparents ng wife ko, eh tabing dagat un kaya salty ang hangin, anyway, indi din natin malaman kung saan talaga nag start ang rust, it could be there or baka somewhere else.

Agoho sir? uo nga malapit yan sa dagat talaga,pero pag nariyan ako sa amin,,every sunday nasa bayabay beach kami inaabot ng hapunan,(what a place talaga)..so far wala talagang kalawang pa,...
about naman sa techician ng roxas,,sorry to say wala namang service dyan sa amin kaya dadalhin ko pa ang car sa iloilo,,last time na uwi ko 2 times kong dinala sa iloilo yan pero niloko lang nila ako,,kasi ni hindi nila ma diagnoses ang sira at hindi DAW pala updated ang computer nila

,so the whole day naghintay kami ng family ko at nagdadownload daw sila..start ng download nila is 8am at 5pm na wala pa sa kalahati ang download nila( na kita ko kasi)...so walang nagawa kundi umuwi nalang kami for 3 long hours of trip back home at tatawag nalang daw sila kung tapos na,...
NEXT,,they call ok na daw pc nila,..punta kami uli doon at you know what??? after long try of diagnosis again they knew that ang pc nila ay hindi parin updated sa PINAKA AT PINAKA NG PINAKA LATESSSSSTTTTT na caren model set up

...so update sila uli for how long?? i dont know and i don't really care anymore....
Ang ganda talaga ng carens not to mention that 1st brand new car namin ito,...but when i come to think of,,i mean the service,,hindi na ako nanghihinayang na bitiwan ang caren ko...
So yan lang naman ang happy story ng service na inabot ko sa Kia Iloilo..by the way ang sa roxas kasi sakanila rin..
Na kakainggit nga kayong mga taga NCR marami kayong services na mapagpipilian...Kung malapit lang sana ako

....
Baka next month pag uwi ko kung ganoon parin ang kalalabasan,,bibitiwan ko na ang caren ko

Sorry to hear about your bad experience sa kia iloilo, nakakainggit talaga ang mga nasa NCR, they have the options to visit other service center to have their beloved carens checked, unlike dito sa province, we are tied sa isang service center lang, iisa pa ang may-ari

. I havent encountered any major problems sa carens ko, minor lang, hopefully wala.

OT: you mentioned na pag umuwi, saan ka naka base or working???

Good news.. Tanong lang sir Mari - nagbayad ka ba ng labor fee at kung
oo, how much? I might also begin to seriously consider Kia Pampanga for my 15k pms.

yung mga mechanics nga ng Kia Pampanga ang nanalo. May nakamention din sa akin na pati yung sa Kia Pangasinan nanalo din ata?

So far, wala pa naman ako problema sa Carens ko. Pero kung minsan napapansin ko during shiftings (from neutral to first gear) eh parang may nararamdaman akong vibration sa ilalim. But it still runs normally naman..

hanren, kia pangasinan and pampanga are owned by the Laus Group. so isa lang mga dugo ng mga yan.

pero matanong ko lang sa inyong lahat, napansin ba niyo tire wear niyo?

i just noticed today, yung front tires ko, hindi pantay upod. yung mga inner side nila nauubos na pala!!! i noticed my lancer had inner tire wear at sa kaba ko, sinilip ko yung sa carens naman. ayun, hindi na nga pantay upod! hay....

i'm hoping it's just a wheel OR camber alignment problem pero for a car that has run over 22,000 Kms, parang may hindi magandang pakitain to ah...

first, the magnetic coil of our aircon (which I still hope is just a batch problem and not a flaw). now, tire wear.....

will take photos soon and post it here.

Just checked mine last night, wala naman sign of not even ang wear ng inner side walls ng all 4 tires ko.
