Medyo OT na pero - nah. We keep our cars for 10 years minimum. It just so happens na dire diretsong paluma na yung ibang kotse haha.

We had a '96 Accord MT and an early '98 EK VTi AT. The 2 FDs (2006/2009) replaced them. Gusto ko sana yung Lancer EX to replace the '98 VTi, pero couldn't justify the 150-200k price diff between another FD and the Lancer EX GT eh. The GT-A, at 1.4M was waaaaaaay out of budget.

Yung current van namin '99 year model, so medyo time to go na rin.

Hehehe! Well bro, i agree. A van is a van. More for transport, cargo and people moving and less for high speed jaunts. But with the GS's size and girth, stability is pretty ok. Just not an inspiring drive if compared to cars ;)

Which Quezon City based suppliers are best?
Yes there are yellow HIDs. 3000K yun. 35w and 55w, if I'm not mistaken.

Well, there's that issue about warranty, so perhaps Extreme Power or Night breaker might be your best bet.

    Yup, we ordered in hypermetallic.

Pics when we get it, pati na rin yung mods

Tapos yung next car to replace mas exciting... 2003/04 Camry in a few years siguro. Not so soon, mahal na mahal pa nila yung car na yan e

Based on the current generation of these cars, the all new accord/camry/sonata/mz6 just might be a killer. hahaha

It's not advisable to install HID in fog lamps kasi the wiring should be modified. 27 watts lang kasi yung stock halogen fogs natin, 35 watts ang HID. Euroline / Solarzen is a good alternative bulb para sa fog lamps ng Grand Starex. Wala kasi branded (Philips, Osram, Narva) na H27 (881).

Sa low beam naman, pwede Osram Night Breaker Plus or Philips X-treme Vision (new X-treme Power). Kung gusto mo HID, 4300K should be the color temp. para OEM ang dating.

    *SG,
Aren't the replacement bulbs (as you mentioned, Solarzen/Euroline) for the h27s 35w already? Or 27w lang din ba sila?

Yeah. Was choosing between the White and Hypermetallic kasi.

Kung Pearl White, then we would have got it in a heartbeat.

But HM looks pretty good din. Considered black pero ayaw ng family.

Were also deciding whether or not to get the Gold model pero decided the extra goodies weren't worth it (yung leather, tailgate spoiler and rear mirror lang gusto namin).

Averse din kasi pamilya namin sa grey market dealers (had to explain to them na hindi illegal imports mga yan) and service. I woulda wanted the HVX for the same amount of money. Pero no-go eh. haha.

The stock fogs are placed really low on the bumper, so with stock bulbs (about 35w) and a big GS front part, from the driver's seat you only get about a foot's worth of illumination after the hood.

Why not? They're an accessory of the GS naman. IMO, just don't go badging your TCi as an HVX or CVX, and you'll be just fine.
bro saan naman nakakabili ng Osram Nightbreakers?magkano isa nito?halogen bulb lang ba yun or papalita ko yung buong housing ng headlight?sorry ha medyo noob ako pag dating sa mga accessories.hehe
