Total Introduces High-Performance Diesel in the Philippines | ************ - Philippine Car News, Car Reviews, Car Features, Car Buyer's Guide and Car Prices.

Total Introduces High-Performance Diesel in the Philippines (May 11, 2015)

Total Philippines recently introduced an addition to the innovative Excellium product line: Total Excellium Diesel. This new generation formula cleans and protects the engine, significantly reduces carbon emissions, and improves fuel economy to fit motorists daily driving allowance.

Total customers in the Philippines can now breathe new life into their cars with Total Excellium, which was developed in European laboratories to put the customers driving experience right at its core, with three distinct advantages in one fuel product.

It delivers maximum engine protection and more in a single patented formula. This new diesel formula takes ones driving experience to the next level by protecting and maintaining both old and new engines through special detergent molecules and friction-reducing ingredients.

The patented formula works to protect metal components in the engine, ensuring that every movement is smoother than ever. With less friction between metal components, one can be assured that the engine will last longer and perform at optimum levels.

Aside from cleaning the engine and eliminating deposits that hinder better engine performance, it also contains combustion improving ingredients that reduce harmful emissions.

Total Excellium is your best ally on the road, as it covers all the important points of modern-day driving, wherever you are in the world. It is now available at the following stations:
Any insight on this new diesel offering ?

Also, nothing said about its Euro rating,- any information on how it fares with Unioil and Phoenix's Euro IV diesel?

Based on experience namin on 4 GS units within our family, yung 3 na gray market walang problema, pero yung service sa office na TCI, mahirap mag bukas at sara ng sliding door sa kanan, hindi ko rin alam kung may bangga ba yun kaya ganun, 2nd hand na kasi nabili yon.

Use Vpowe diesel instead. Personally yung Unioil diesel na yan dyan nagbara fuel filter ng Euro 5 na GS ko.

Saan po kayo nakuha ng parts? Same ba sa local starex? Like fuel filter, oil filter and air filter?

Dpf, diesel particulate filter. It filters the exhaust so the vehicle does not emit black smoke. Normally if you are using the right fuel (e.g., euro4 diesel for a euro4 engine) then this will not get plugged easy and no maintenance is necessary. However if you use a euro2 diesel on a euro4 engine, especially the dirty diesel like petron, then it will get plugged. Normal maintenance is the usual "italian tune up". It needs to be hot to regenerate, so take your vehicle to the hiway and run it for a few kilometers at a speed greater than your normal city driving speed.
