    Smoky question.

Noticed when I floored the throttle one time, on a short night trip from the house to the gas station, that the GS was puffing smoke. Not the black kind, rather the light gray kind na parang kulang lang sa hataw. This was with the engine started for less than 5 minutes and the car not used for a few days. Oil also due for replacement.

Have been loading SeaOil Euro "5" diesel with STP additives for sometime.

    Seaoil is only euro3 sir.

From the headlights of the tailing cars. Pero in reality, wala naman smoke yan

Hehe! That's why I put 5 in " " coz of their marketing claim. But anyways...

Sabagay, you have a point. It's just hard to distinguish definitively at a quick glance between my fumes and those of perhaps a nearby jeepney. It's still not spewing as badly as some other GSs that I've seen.

Can I have suspension parts bought and replaced here too?

Bumibigay na yung suspension, matagtag and last PMS at Hyundai Central EDSA mentioned this.

I suspect this is from our driver having ran our GS with only 30 PSI tires for the last 2 years.

Sinabi ko na 45 PSI, 30 lagi nilalagay. No wonder ambilis mapudpod ng gulong.

Sarap ihataw ng GS! Hehehe! Had to rush from QC to Ortigas and back last Sunday evening. The wife left some gifts for the 2nd "party" we were attending, so had to go back home for them. Better to use the manual mode so that you can just keep flooring the throttle without worrying about the transmission hunting back and forth.

I think, with this Italian tune up, the smoke from the pipe got reduced. Also went with Unioil for the GS last week.

I'd like to be driving behind it while under load to find out kung gano kalakas ba talaga.

    *yebo,

Doing a 500+km trip, now in Vigan and going to Pagudpud tomorrow.

No idea, i don't have time to check the voltage with the battery disconnected kanina. I found out 2 of the bulbs have the filament for the brakes already broken and causing a short somehow. I removed both bulbs and the dimming of the clock and odo disappeared. Travelling tomorrow for malaysia e no time na to buy bulbs.

Change oil, atf, coolant, power steering fluid, brake fluid and differential fluid.

    First set:
In my case, I used a pair of the existing sockets and bulbs. Again one pair of the bulbs is already double contact.
For the sockets, I just pulled out the connectors from a pair of them and attached them to the other pair, resulting to a pair of double contact sockets... If you are not comfy doing this, just buy a pair of double contact sockets.

    Second set:
Then I bought a pair of double contact sockets and bulbs...

Then parallel lines for the park lines and another parallel lines for the brake lines for all four...

Removing the tail light assembly was a bigger challenge, as you could crack it....

Considering stock 215/70r16 tires have 106/108 load ratings which, correct me if i'm wrong, supposedly make them a bit tougher despite the heavy GS load? I can understand the Dunlop with a lower side wall and 97 load rating getting oblonged. Oh well.

Went for gas yesterday. The gas man (di pwedeng boy, matanda na din eh, hehe) could not believe that i said "45 psi po". Clarified twice pa.

It's a bit higher than the 30-35 i'm using but that's the requirement...

iba takbo pag 45 psi, parang mas listo siya. i normally just put 40 psi on city driving but always put 45 psi on long drives.
