Nag leak ang injection pump (TD27, A/T) so binaklas, palit seals and calibration
Nung binalik na sa akin, sobrang erratic ang shifting, hirap magdrive pauwi. Pero pag nilalagay sa Hold/Snow mode, medyo nagiging ok ang shifting
May mga nabasa ako na may relation ang isang sensor sa injection pump na nagcocontrol ng shifting, so sinabi ko yung sa mekaniko ko. Pwede yun nga daw and kinuha nya kanina at ibabalik sa calibration shop. Kasi suggestion nya una eh mag change ATF, kakapalit ko lang last change oil (5k kms) and nung iniwan ko yung sasakyan, smooth ang pag shift

electrical problem lang pala ang issue. sa starter switch. nawawalan ng supply ng kuryente ang shut off valve kapag nasa "Start" position ang susian. buti hinook up ko sa tester. 12 volts kapag nasa ON. once na ipihit sa START, zero volts na. wired up with a relay muna yung shut off valve habang wala pang makuhang replacement key cylinder

Hi, my ride is adventure 2006 diesel glx. Kanina lang, nagwild yung techometer ko (tachometer, not the engine). Taas-baba sya for a few minutes. Then nag ok na, hindi na naulit.
May naka encounter na ba sa inyo nito? What to check?

1. Is there any adjustment to increase fuelling on a 1999 elgrand (Higher boost wanted from turbo) - I have been told I have plenty of fuel available, but the same shop also increased my boost by simply unplugging the wastegate actuator pressure hose...sigh..so my faith is a tad low atm..(Very expensive, and big name shop in Makati area that will rename nameless)
2. My car is idling a bit low and shaking shuddering..a 100rpm increase applied at the pedal fixes it nicely.. Would the idle adjustment be on the Zexel pump? Or is this a case of TPS adjustment?

2008 model Santa Fe maingay yung engine, parang helicopter, sumasabay sa rev ng engine.
regular oil change with a FS oil. me kinalaman ba sa injectors ang ingay? nasa passenger side yun ingay around the belt area.
possible ba na conn rod e nasa left side lang yun malapit sa belts?pag injectors ba maingay din?me slight vibration na rin ko na fifeel during engine shut off e.
possible ba na magpost ng audio file dito to have a better feedback from all the gurus out here?

Noise/vibration cannot be diagnosed online. Many things to check, mostly mechanical. Hint, remove all belts, run the engine, listen for noise. Check engine / transmission supports.

This speed is low. Your engine should normally idle at 700-750 rpm.

After a week my ranger stalled with check engine. I had it scanned and it shows injector failure. I called my mechanic to check and he took all injectors out to have it checked at the calibration center. Three injectors are excellent, giving out 16 but one injector is failing giving out 6. He said he could rebuild my faulty injector and replace the nozzle. The following day he came back to assemble my injectors in place but had minor fuel leak issues, he said its because of worn out rubber gasket around the injector. We road tested the car and it was running fine last night. He promised to come back today to put tribond to solve the fuel leak issue.
On my way to work early this morning, my ranger stalled again with check engine. What could be the problem? Is it safe to use tribond as a gasket? Is the stalling caused by the leaking fuel? Thanks!

Rubber gasket will not fix the leak because you have a compression leak. The compression gasket needs to be replaced and the sealing surface of the valve cover cleaned.

its a D4EB engine , Santa Fe 08 Model.
currently on a break in after a major overhaul, resleeved/new piston/ rings mechanics advise is just to take it slowly since break in period pa. so he said just stay below the 60kph speed as much as possible.
i noticed that now it has a very sluggish performance, before, kasi when i reached around 1.5k rpm, my speed has already reached around 40kph but now parang ambagal nya gumalaw as in parang gapang , dati kasi i seldom reached 2.5k rpm when i drive but now halos umabot ako ng 2.5k rpm before i reach a speed f 50kph. Do you think dahil the sleeve and pistons are still setting in as what my mech said?will this still improve?
