i went over rumble strips when i test drove the Kicks. car felt like it was being jackhammered so NVH will even be a lot worse if you use run flat tires. btw those same rumble strips are pretty much silent when i drive over them on the ecosport (albeit w/ oversized tires)

    any takers?

And ilang interval needed ng PMS?

Kung bearable for the owner, then well and good. So benefits outweight the negative kung may napansin. hehe!

yeah NVH really isn't that bad. but lack of spare tire is a deal breaker

here's a US ecosport driver who's been missing for 2 weeks i think. wala kasing spare tire ang US ecosport apparently she got flat then started walking to get help

battery charge is the same as having fuel. if you dont check or be attentive of your fuel guage mawawalang ka rin ng fuel whether it be gas, Diesel or Battery. The one saving grace of EV is that most comes with mobile chargers and our electrical infrastructure is Level 2 and you can try to look for the nearest outlet and ask the owners to use the plug. so kailagan mo ng back up extension cord.

talked to the Nissan Service Advisor before with regards to the Leaf.
yearly PMS. They just check the tires, brakes, brake fluid, other fluids. Replace filters if needed.
The brakes daw usually last longer due to regenerative braking. Tires is the one that seem to easily get replaced due to weight of EV's.

With the MG Marvel R, there is a PMS indicator in the dash.
PMS is done every 25tkm. And they mostly just check the fluids and filters if need replacements.
    way cheaper than ICE models.

25k ang mileage recommended pero baka i force pa rin buyers to stick to 6 mos or 1 yr if 25k cannot be reached.
Else, paso warranty if hindi mag follow.
Hopefully, mileage lang needed nila for the next PMS visit.

read it somewhere that EV tires need to be replaced 30% more often than ICE tires because they are typically heavier and have more torque.

ako naman, doing homework on EVs since my car is turning 5 this year...

a lot of EV's parts must be replaced as a "module," di pwedeng specific part lang na sira ang papalitan.
2nd issue is that since an EV is more expensive... insurance premium is also higher.

ganon din ako kaso with the EVs infrastructure sa ngayon lalo na sa probinsya, medyo having 2nd thoughts pa rin.
bihira pa rin yung EV cars that can stretch their range up to 600kms without charging. malamang hybrid muna ang next car as oppose to getting EV kaso konti rin lang ang options sa ngayon para sa midsize SUV.

With the EV infra (or lack thereof) here in PH, EVs should not be your only car. Pang 2nd car lang for your daily use. Then you should have another car for out of town trips na hindi kayang abutin ng EV.

1st time ko makakita ng Kia EV6 yesterday. Ganda talaga. Lumipat ako lane para lang mauna siya and makita ko yung side and rear. A lot of people like Hyundai Ioniq 5 more pero design-wise, prefer ko EV6.

    Kia EV6
    Hyundai Ioniq 5
    Volkswagen ID4
    Audio e-tron GT
    Audi e-tron
    Tesla Model 3, S, Y and X

I think I also saw Porsche Taycan pero di ako sure kung Taycan talaga. Hehe
