maybe "hybrid" or "EV" stickers might be significant to us here,
but in their countries of origin, it's probably no big deal kung wala.

    sa totoo lang,
it penalizes the poor because they may not afford a coding car,
but favors the rich (may coding car na, less traffic pa because of coding).

    (as I've posted earlier)

It penalizes everyone... wala nang tao sa middle class ang marunong mag commute!

a normal household will have 2 (or more) cars. pero the 2nd car will be used by the wife (or children) since once a week lang naman coding nya.

later... the children starts driving since may extra car naman sa house!

compared to our younger days when the household will only have 1 car... the most expensive car they can afford since tatay lang naman nila ang gagamit.

    Meron na.

Last two letters in the license plate will determine if its a Hybrid or a Full EV.

I can at least say, this is silly because they issued license plate numbers (with letters) to Hybrids (most probably EVs) that had no such coding followed.

I thought the simple solution of just indicating the plate number with the words "HYBRID" or "ELECTRIC" at the bottom would be the simplest solution. That way, they can just issue an updated license plate to the said vehicle that appears in their system, no fuss. They did say that once a plate number has been issued, you can no longer change it. So... what now for those previously released? Left to fend for themselves to be flagged repeatedly by enforcers who aren't in the know?

EDIT: Yeah, remove coding. It doesn't work, never has except in the beginning when it was first implemented where the market needed time to acquire their backup vehicles. hehe!

    most confusing!
the authors obviously have been watching too many spy movies.
a simple color coding of the plates should do the trick. even those with impaired vision can still identify the vehicle class from a distance.
the orange plate is already in use, for EVs.

I was thinking this was an EV vs ICE thing, or maybe Jimmy Broadbent not good at launching his car, pero mabilis pala talaga yung MG4.

The MG 4EV X Power has over 450hp with its two EV motors also giving it four wheel drive.

EVs with good powerful motors gives instantaneous Torque. the more powerful ones will really push you back on your seat with its G forces.
