    unit cost 1,328,000

    freight (manila-davao) 28,000
    Insurance 35,888
    LTO 3yrs 14,300
    Leather Seats 60,000
    3M Tint 9,800

Before the EVAT 24,500 lng yung freight nila.

mahal naman ng 3m tint mo sir, just had my ride retint(3m full tint w/out cut) in winterpine, php 4,700 lang. hindi mo ba pwedeng ipatint ke "apiong"? baka mas mura sya.

My plan was 30% down and 2 years installment. We were also able to add all the accessories into the installment plan kaya our total downpayment and initial outlay went down as well. Pero of course we also expect that the monthly will also go up a bit. I asked the SA if we could pay the lumpsum after the first year (so we dont have to pay for 2 years), They said it was ok. It will lower the total cost of the unit.

They also explained that they have 3 cutoffs: 6 months, 12 and 18 for us. We can choose any of the 3 and the will recalculate the lumpsum for us.

I suggest that other future owners make a deal with their agents. We all know that Toyota prefers installment buyers over cash buyers. So I recommend cash buyers out there to make a new deal for installment (plus other options offered), then pay it off later after you get your units. Its just like working around the Toyota system.

They showed me the "list" when I made my reservation in July. I saw several FULLY PAID customers already and some have paid half, but knowing that TOYOTA will not give priority to these buyers, I asked for a quotation for 2 & 3 year plans as what they suggested.

So even if I had enough cash, I saw no point in that. I better go with what they want (to get what I want, and sooner) and then pay it in full as soon as I can. Sure I will still pay for some interest, but thats part of life. Lahat naman ng utang may interest eh. You just have to be smart about it.

I got the Nautilus horns from C3 Car Accessories for 950.00 with installation, it's a very compact unit with a single mounting bolt. It was installed in less than 10 minutes with no cutting and splicing. Yes, you should make sure it's original because I heard there are a lot of imitations being sold for a lot less. I've scared a few jeeps with the Nautilus and it's money well spent seeing them swerve to their proper lanes after a sharp blast from the horns. I'm just worried because Toyota might make it an issue when something malfunctions due to electrical problems... I do hope it won't affect the warranty. Can someone please add my name to the owners list? I don't know how. hehe.

Sorry brother, but encouraging others to bite this "sick" scheme is probably the most demeaning post I have read in all these Fortuner threads. You are one of the reasons why Toyota keeps screwing more people out there. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you got your Fortuner early. But atleast you could have felt sorry for biting the bullet rather than encouraging others to do the same. I don't even think what you did was considered smart.

I don't want to start another Fortuner war. I just feel sorry for many Fortuner wannabe's who have been patiently waiting in line because they don't have as much money as you do to pay "sucker fees" to get their units. The less people like you, the more chances they can get theirs.

Paying an interest, when you can pay in cash, is not smart. We know this Fortuner story already. But promoting this "rape" is the last thing we want right now.

Well, i dont disagree with your opinion. I do feel sorry for those who could not get a good clean deal from their dealers and have to wait for a long while. Believe me bro, that I will not encourage people to bite any bullets or allow themselves to be "raped".

I appologize kung medyo hindi maganda ang dating ng post ko. I didnt mean to incite anything bad.

I could not afford to pay cash and it just so happens that everything my sales agent offered me plus the payment plan worked out in both our favor. I got my car without paying anything outside the quotation given to me. As I mentioned earlier, my SA was honest upfront and worked really hard to get me my unit earlier. I didnt apply any pressures or made lagay or paid "sucker fees" as you put it. I got mine clean and fair. If I got it 6 months later, OK lang din sa amin. We were prepared for that naman eh.

Pasalamat kayo 'di ako moderator dito... There are some guys here who just won't stick to the purpose of the thread, eh... If it were up to me, I'd be deleting some of the posts here eh!

i agree with ser vicoyski ... it doesnt mean na dahil nde mo kaya or ayaw mo sumakay sa "rape" deal eh you have to flame somebody who did. di kaya insecure ka lang coz somebody got their unit earlier? besides, its their OWN money ... you did NOT give it to them to spend on something.

sori po sa mga natamaan ko.

anyways, back to the topic ... meron na po ba accessory o natakpan na po ba sa mga recent releases ng fortuner ung gaping hole sa front wheels, ung butas na gaya sa crv ... ?

Here is what this guy shockz said:

"I suggest that other future owners make a deal with their agents...."

So he is addressing this statement to "future owners" or those who are waiting in line.
I have 2 relatives who are waiting in line since May. Therefore, I am compelled to
    react to what he said.

May Fortuner ka na ba 'pre? Malamang meron na, then his post is not directed to you.
So you don't need to react.

    This guy shockz also said:

"So I recommend cash buyers out there to make a new deal for installment (plus other options offered)."

He clearly is talking to cash buyers in-line. As a cash buyer, I'm entitled to react.

I agree. This Fortuner buying thing has become a sensitive issue. It is okay to share how you got your Fortuner. You don't need to involve those who are still waiting in line if you don't want to get a response in return.

Now back to the Fortuner topic.

*BoyFerrari : wala pa 'pre, ung nakausap ko kse nung una gave me the run around kaya nainis ako so went to toyota balintawak. im planning to have it paid in cash pero sabi nung SA sa balintawak na nasa buntot daw ng mga financed buyers ung mga cash buyers kaya im thinking na of jumping to financing.

anyways, we are all entitled to interpret in our own ways ang mga post ng mga tao dito - no need to flame somebody. cash buyer din ako but im not offended sa post ni shockz.

on the fortuner topic, my question is still hanging po :
meron na po ba accessory o natakpan na po ba sa mga recent releases ng fortuner ung gaping hole sa front wheels, ung butas na gaya sa crv ... ?

Some say may available daw sa A-Toy Bodykits... I dunno if it's made of plastic or fiber glass nga lang (plastic is best, eh). Sa Thailand merong supplier ng OEM wheel well covers. No drilling required daw. Only clips... Sathien Plastics of Thailand ang may gawa. Try using Google or Yahoo Search.

Just a question. Has anyone of the Fortuner owner here has bought his Fortuner by Cash not in any kind of Financing? My dad was being offered a 2.5D Fortuner kasi but he doesn't wanna take the financing and just wanna pay cash. Someone told him na all Fortuner owners got theirs thru Financing daw.
