I went to Banawe last Sunday and had my stock horns replaced with the Stebel Nautilus air horn, the new horn is way louder than the stock units! Is it just me, or does the Nautilus sound like the air horns used by garbage trucks? I swear when I used my new horns, several maids on our street would drag out their garbage cans! I also had Miggyboy Car Accessories install the hood carrier (very useful for vertically challenged guys like me!) and some minor cosmetic upgrades. I love using her on Sundays and to feel the power of 100 plus horses at my disposal. Looking forward to meeting all of you guys.

Is this the case ba with fortuner?? kasi sa Innova the alarm sound comes from the car horn itself located at the rad grille...

separated din ang alarm horn ng INNOVA sa car horn nito, the alarm horn is located sa right side ng engine bay near the air cleaner. so if your planning to change your car horn walang problema, kasi hindi kasaling ma-aalter ang horn ng car alarm.

Medyo, eskandaloso talaga s'ya. But, my neighbors are used to me na. I only honk 4 short bursts to have our help open the gate. I avoid unnnecessarily blaring my horns para 'di magalit neighbors.

I usually blare my horns at jeepneys and tricycles who hog the streets...

Effective ba ito, I mean laban sa sidecars at jeepneys... talamak kasi yan dito sa lugar namin sa Binondo.. nakakapeste na nga especially now na magpasko na... BTW advance Merry Xmas na lang sa lahat...heheh..

Ah yes, the ususal. I was offered "leather" seats, DVD player and then installment plan (with Toyota). Gusto ko naman lahat yung options kaya yun ang avail namin. I guess, pareho ito sa karamihan but I was amazed kung pano nya kami natulungan mabigyan agad at pursigido sya makuha namin before the price increase.

"Installment plan(with Toyota)" You mean yung 3 year installment plan na may 10% interest per year?? No wonder you got your ride within 2 months!! That's gona add about 300k++ to your total cost

Sensya na...I'm one of those who people that has been waiting since last year for my Fortuner and my dealer is in Shaw. Hanggang ngayon yung pila namin hindi gumagalaw tapos next year March pa daw marerelease kaya inurong nanamin. Ang gusto kasi ng dealer yung in-house financing sa 10% per annum tapos 3 yrs. daw dapat. I'm even considering to get the kia suv na lang kasi nakakainis na ang mga dealers...

*Innova Boy, be sure to get the black Stebel Nautilus with the Made in Italy inscription. The red one is an imitation which is quite cheap tagged P800 at Concorde in Southmall. They don't have the black model which Infinity does have, that's how I learned the difference. The orig one at Infinity was priced at P1.2K but I will be having it installed at Kid Audio for only P950.

Nope its just one piece. Having a pair of these horns will wake up the whole neighborhood. Check one of Vicoyki's recent post regarding this horn. Kid Audio is located at Binan, Laguna, the lone and the best accessory shop for Southerners. It's a no no for you if you're living in MM. I think there's one shop at Araneta Av where Vicoyski have his Fortuner stock horn replaced.

Last year? How'd you manage reserving that well in advance and waiting this long? The Fortuner was first launched February 2005 in Thailand and only last May 2005 here in the Philippines.

Finally I was able to catch this illusive animal at Toyota Marikina after 6 long months. Good thing A friend of mine's company knew somebody from there.

hello fortuner owners and future owners. Toyota Davao will release my fortuner 2.5G greyish brown next week. I made my reservation last October 17. 100k yung reservation fee na binayaran ko.

FYI eto yung breakdown ng charges.

unit cost 1,328,000

freight (manila-davao) 28,000
Insurance 35,888
LTO 3yrs 14,300
Leather Seats 60,000
3M Tint 9,800

Before the EVAT 24,500 lng yung freight nila.
Mga sir magkano ba dyan sa manila ang LTO reg tpos yung 3M Tint?

Nagulat ako sa 5-6 weeks lng waiting ko nung tumawag yung agent kasi sabi nila January ko pa rw makuha. Hindi po sya Inhouse financing. Tapos hindi na ako pumili ng color.
