Kaya when I back-into the garage, 'di ko pinapansin sensor, which detects the walls as I back in. I miscalculated my backing-in 'coz our help didn't fully open the gate. I use the gate to gauge my distance from the wall, eh.

Sobrang minimal naman talaga ang effect ng biodiesel... In my exp. im using bio diesel(senbel) 1liter per full tank. The only effect i got is mas malakas ang arangkada. The consolation im getting is mas malinis ung linya ng crudo and avoid the problem with other tsikoteers..

Mas masikip yung garahe ko, 6 inches lang allowance ko on both ends. Kaya ang ginagamit kong sensor pagpasok sa garahe ay yung si 'day, with matching warning voice "koya, sigi pwidi pa, atras... koya, tama na, naipit na ako!!! hehehehe

kaya siya naiipit lagi ksi nagre-resonate sa garage wall yung engine noise (mine's 2.5G), di ko masyadong marinig yung warning voice niya, hehehe...

Can't do that... I need to park both SUVs in such a way that I can jump in and out of the driver's seat of each vehicle. If I park both cars facing away from the gate, I will need to pass through the passenger side to get to the driver's seat of one vehicle. And, that's a big hassle during an emergency.


Thanks for noticing the CRV... It's the wifey who takes care of her now. You should've seen how shiney our trusty old Revo SR, when she used to take care of it. It fetched a good price when we decided to sell it in favor of the Fortuner.

Its actually 3.0.

After mag first 1000km gumagamit na me ng biodiesel. wala naman problem ..
Biodiesel nasira ung sa truck namin na injection pump pero i think because madumi talaga linya. kaya ginagawa namin pag magpapa emission test.

In my opinion, back sensors don't help much at all. That is why am looking for reverse mirror which is more effective pagdikitan sa wall or car (in my case). Until now wala pa rin stock si carryboy.

The sensors are good when parking in malls and when backing into poorly lit slots (like in the New Medical City's basement parking). The mirrors will only be useful when there's ample light to see. Besides, it was my miscalculation of my side clearance and not the rear clearance that caused the mishap.

I got my unit, 3.0 last saturday PM (with 64 km on the odometer). I have taken it to my folks in batangas and am driving it between Sta rosa and Binan. So far, 7.8 km/L. Ok lang po ba iyan?


Also, 5 taon na ako di naglilinis ng kotse dahil dinadala ko lang sa gas stations. I wont be able to go to berts or any shop until the weekend, how do I clean up the dust and rainwater marks? Its a black unit kaya hesitant ako. All I have in my house is 16 pcs of microfiber (pricesmart PhP57/pc lumalabas, pack of 16).

Product and tool suggestions? Wala lang time to scroll down detailing thread. Kumakapal na dumi sa unit! : )

Pilgrim, belated congrats on your new ride. Way to go! If i'm not mistaken, your consumption is within the range of others who owns a 3.0V as well. About the washing, we have the same predicament. I have Black Mica a 2.5G. First time ko rin kasing kumuha ng ganitong kulay. My previous rides were silver and light blue. So, i really don't have any idea on the special materials and "tender-loving-care" of a black-coloured car.

I plan to install a Bluetooth Handsfree set sa Fortuner ko, and its the first time for me connect such device. I never used one on my previous rides. I have a shortlist: Parrot series, Nokia HE-6W and Sony ericsson HCB-300. Maybe u can suggest a better device. I would appreciate your inputs/suggestions/advice very much. Do i need to have my Toyota dealer install the device so as not to void the elect. warranty?

Guys, any one of you who had to wait for at least 2 - 3 weeks before your LTO plates become available. 3 weeks nako, ala pa din plates.

pilgrim/ patron: same "problem." black din ang fortuner namin. nung pinalinis ko siya sa isang carwash, nawala ang kintab niya. after having it waxed, i decided na ako na lang ang mag linis. kapagod lang at umaabot ako ng 2 hours para hugasan. once a week ko lang ginagawa. what i do is i hose the vehicle down. then i use a pressure washer to loosen the dirt. (di gaano malakas yung pressure; just enough na matanggal yung nakakapit na dumi sa body.) after that, the "formal" washing with a wash cloth on one hand and a water hose on the other. di ko siya pinupunasan na walang running water. i start at the roof going down. pagkatapos, bugahan ko uli ng water gamit ang pressure washer. after that, pinapatuyo ko na. 3m wash cloth and pranela lang gamit ko. makapit masyado ang chamois. the cleaning is done in a shaded area para di magevaporate yung water.
