*beebs...demand to talk to their GM at the dealer...let hell break loose. Sometimes we just have to assert ourselves to avoid being taken advantage off. demand to see that policy (if ever meron, pero usually sales talk lang yan for more commissions of the agent) kung meron man talaga, check kung may retroactive clause siya.

*beebs: Toyota Makati (Bel Air) is owned by the TMPC plant. They shouldn't be doing that to you. Try to talk to the dealership GM. Matagal na reservation mo eh.

    On a lighter note...

Just had my scratched-up bumper painted at the dealer.

I also asked to have the back-up sensors painted, after seeing the body color back-up sensors of a Previa.

Nice paint job! Okay din yung "colored" sensors. Yung wall, hindi mo na pininturahan?

Hehehe... Surprisingly, the wall didn't get any paint damage. I'm glad na din... Just goes to show that my house is built with tough stuff.

What brand/type of back-up sensor did you install for your Fortuner? Where did you buy it?

Honestly, I didn't get to see the brand of the sensor that the dealership installed. The control unit is stuck inside the housing for the tools and the jack, so I can't see the brandname. But, it works great.

*mazdamazda: I'm kinda sad that you've decided to pull-out. I was looking forward to hearing that you've already got your unit.

PAre did you have to pay for the paintjob? or is it part of the warranty? and ifyou had to pay for it how much did it cost?

It's not covered by the warranty, 'coz it's not a factory defect. The paint scratch was because a wall backed into my unit...

The dealership repainted the whole bumper panel to make sure that the shade was even. It cost me P4.5T for the whole panel.

I got my plates after 2 weeks, I chose 0 because holidays are being moved to either Mondays or Fridays... like this coming November.
I purchased a set of aluminum pedal pads and muffler cutter from Autosports, they look good and cost a lot less than what's being sold at the dealerships. The Master steering will lock will arrive tomorrow and should come in handy when I have to park her in unfamiliar territory.

Hanggang ngayon ba nasa Denial Stage pa rin kayo? This is the story for months and months now. As has been said here in Tsikot many times over - start offering bribes to your dealer and your Fortuner will come out before Christmas.

Lalo na ngayon, magpa-pasko pa, people will get their bonus, so more people are capable of paying more bribes, so if you will stick with your original payment maraming makakasingit sayo, then you have to wait till the holiday season is over before you get yours (perhaps around January dahil sigurado matumal ang benta by that time dahil ubos ang pera ng mga tao). :praning:

i agree with you. talked to another dealer and inquired a 4x2 vvti. marami daw silang mga stock. siguro iniipon muna nila para sa mga "potential" buyers. i can get daw a unit asap if i will avail of the IHI, IHF, kelseat, and xenon HID. gusto ko malaman kung totoo so i filled up an application form. will keep you posted of the developments.

    OT:

The govt also happen to own gas guzzlers like Ford Expeditions and Lincoln Town Cars. Purchasers in govt dont care what car fits the dept's present and future needs. They'll just get whatever vehicle tickles them right that very momemt. Absolute power corrupts.

    beebs,
