It's easy to remember and considering that an average kilometerage is about 1000 km per month. Yung warranty book ang naglagay na 3 months or 5k. It's lawyers who will argue which one to follow considering that both are Toyota's official documents.
If you read the manual, PMS schedule depends which country you are in. If TMP set it at 5K or 3 months you have to follow.

Advice please.

That's normal, just clean it with water once in while.

You must inform the SA that you want the excess motor oil be given to you. Specially if they bring your vehicle inside their lube for the PMS. In my case in TMB (Toyota Motors Batangas), PMS are mostly done in their 'quick lube' which is outside their main facility. So I can see for myself what they are doing. And I just ask the mechanic to give me the remaining motor oil and the old spark plugs. I usually give the old spark plugs to my brother-in-law who have an old car.

Then you could apply grease sa terminals after cleaning.

Hi a_s, since our stock battery is a maintenance type, you have to once in a while, say every week at the most, check your battery terminals wherein your battery ages in time thus sulfur deposits appear. To properly remove and clean it, you will need the following materials:
    1) baking soda
    2) h20
    3) cleaning brush (an old toothbrush or paint brush will do)
    4) rags and
    5) a small dipper.

Procedure: Mix a small amount of baking soda with water to produce a pasty solution in a small dipper. Dip the brush into it and brush the affected parts of the battery. You will notice, the deposits to react with the solution. Let it stand for a couple of minutes thence clean/wipe it with rags. Voila! the deposits are gone. Hope this helps.

And to add, to prevent acid splashes ruining your paintwork, apply synthetic (polymer) sealant onto painted underhood areas where battery acid splashes will likely stick.

If you have your Owner's manual on hand, flip to pages 293-294. You will have all the info you require.

My Innova G is a 2008 release, Does this mean that my battery is maintenance free na? But the manual still show the same pages in the earlier post. Does this mean that my Innova G 2008 is still low maintenance?

If its maintenance-free then the battery caps are sealed and can't be opened until the battery's warranty expires.

Thanks. The battery caps are not sealed so hindi maintenance free.

Another question. I have not seen in the Innova manual any topic or discussion regarding washing the engine. Does this mean, it is discouraged or prohibited? Unlike the manner of cleaning the exterior and interior part of the car. What can you say on this?

It's a matter of owner's prerogative if he want his car engine washed or not. For me, I never washed my car's engine with high water pressured equipment. If you really wish your engine bay washed, avoid concentrating on ignition system and exposed electrical components. Better cover them to avoid each getting wet. Since I acquired my unit naspu naspu lang sa engine bay and using compresssed air under running vaccum cleaner to remove stubborn dust. I googled one article for you to quench your curiosity: http://www.dccarcare.com/tipowk/tipowk13.html

Around 10 liters. Malayo pa ang mararating mo bago mag-totally empty. Theoretically, if your FC is 10 kpl, you could still travel for about 100 kilometers.

    Please check my experience here.

I'll be having my 1st pms on the 2nd week of January and im planning to shift from mineral oil to fully synthetic 15W-40.

    Thanks in advance!!

I just had my 1000 pms last Friday sa casa. I only had mineral oil since it cost me only PHP 1,400, way less than the P 5,200 for full synthetic. I've also read in the previous thread that since there are some adjustments sa lubrication and the like, mineral oil is better than full synthetic as for now.

In my experience, parang hindi pwedeng manuod during the change oil process.

By the way, also ask for the remaining oil dahil only 5.5 liters lang and ilagay so ask for what is left for future use. otherwise, if you will not ask hindi nila ibigay.

As to the oil filter, they will also change that. The P 1,400 actually includes already the filter. Have a nice day...Happy new year...
