Yup, the clearance is really lower sa driver side, when I'm off the car...

the shocks seems ok based on the ride, and why on the driver side???

Most of the body weight is on the drivers side, just remember that the gas tank is on the driver's side. So if you are using the car all alone most of the time, then there's no counter weight balance on the passenger side.

maiba lang. meron na ba sa inyo na nakaexperience na mabutas yung fuel tank? Mine is 2006 innova j. this is without doing anything like sumabit sa isang object. basta na lang nagka leak.

Wala bang dent? Yung sa akin nagkadent sa ilalim at nabutas. Pinapalitan ko na lang sa insurance claim.

Tama, ang haba ng kwento ko, yun actually ang sabi ng mechanic ng office, almost ako lang pag week days kasi. But still dapat a few years pa yan lumabas.... dapat cguro mag bawas ng timbang...

for those who have MID(multi info display) sa mga innova nila, accurate ba yung fuel consumption meter niyo? sa akin kasi napansin ko ag laki ng difference between MID readings and the actual fuel consumption. example pag ang reading ko sa mid is 6.5km/liter ang actual ay 5.5km/liter lang, usually ang difference is between .8-1.1km/liter. bakit kaya ganun?

this incident happened when I was getting my car at TPT after the PMS. I smelled gasoline around my car. I decided to park it on another area to check if my car is really causing the smell. unfortunately, its my car that smelled gasoline. i check underneath the gas tank and yes it was leaking! i was so furious and asked the SA what happened to my car. I had it PMS to them and what do i get? a leaking gas tank!

it was already 6pm so i am obliged to leave my car. they promise to work on it overnight and order the parts at TMP by 9am the next day and assured me that the parts will arrive by 2pm.

the next day, the SA told me that it was the canister (dunno the right term) the one sucking on the gasoline that caused it. he said the pressure is to high and it caused the gasoline tank to have a dent thus causing a pin hole on the gas tank they replaced the canister, gas tank and the fuel cap. the SA showed me the defective gasoline tank and they have claimed this on TMP as under warranty.

i dont know if the reasoning of the SA is true. anyone who can shed light on this?

just wanna ask if ano problem sa innova ng grandparents ko. sa 2yrs old nila na innova D4d 3x na nagka aircon prob. balik balik sa casa. dont know whats wrong but been bothered by it na kahit di samin yung innova. btw less than 15k pa yung odo reading tapos ganyan na mga probs? di kasi nila ginagamit masyado yung innova. buti pa multicab nila always on the go.
any suggestions kung ano yung nasira?

I don't think me makapagsasabi sa yo kung ano ang problema other than the guys who are inspecting and/or repairing the vehicle. What I can say is that, just like any other machine or equipment, kung hindi magagamit ng regular eh there is a tendency for problems to occur. They are built to work and operate.

Hmm... what was the kilometer reading when you had it serviced? Could it be that when they tried to raise your car with a lift they accidentally hit the gas tank?

I was washing the engine early this morning and to my surprise found this!



Two wires going to the Driver Injector have been nibbled (encircled yellow). There's only one suspect, the cat! It must have entered from below the engine after I parked last night.

I guess the heat from the engine must have been tempting during the cold night.

Here it is after a quick fix...


It's a good thing this didn't happened on a monday morning when I'm going to work.

Better check your engine before starting it in the morning.

If it's not the whole engine control module itself, it should be the commonrail fuel system control module as it has wiring connection going to the engine and to the fuel injectors.

to all ka innova's... i have a problem with my innova pls help naman.. usually kasi pag nag reduce ako ng gear from 5th to 4th gear.. my plastic rattle ako naririnig at sobrang lakas nya.. at the middle of the dashboard.. at sa takip ng Airbag.. sa driver side.... meron na bang naka experience sa inyo ng ganito? at saka covered pa ba ito sa warranty? 6000+ na odo ko.
