have you already tried measuring your ride's height? by just seeing it, it may look balanced but when you measure it will reflect your ride's height. I've check and we dont have any leaking shocks. We also tested the shocks if it bounces up more than once and the result is ok. I will let casa interchange the coil springs.

Yes, I did measure it by using a ruler. Though I travel mostly with companions so I guess there's some sort of weight balance distribution on the suspensions.

Has anyone of you here placed or installed an engine hood cover? I have a Innova G a/t vvti and would want to install it. Is this cover really necessary? What are its advantages and disadvantages, if any? If you have installed one, please include pictures....Thanks in advance.....

Service Advisor Dani said shocks and battery check up is not included in the PMS, hence i need to schedule another visit for those concerns.

Kalokohan naman ito. Andoon na ang sasakyan mo, bakit hindi pa ginawa? Pero, 5k pa lang ang mileage mo. Dapat wala ka pang problema sa shocks at battery.

Sa Toyota Makati at Commonwealth, tinatanong pa ako kung ano pa ang ibang concerns ko other than PMS.

All vvt-i variants don't have the hood insulator/cover, etc.. I think the d-4d variants need this item to serve as an insulator (for engine noise, etc..)

For me, the advantage is that it helps shield the hood's paint from direct heat from the engine. In the long term (8-10 yrs later), this hood cover will eventually rot away (depending on the material used for it).

I don't think it's necessary. I don't see any advantage but the disadvantage is you're going to spend some money for it.

on top of the hood or under the hood? if the latter guess it's not necessary in your case coz petrol engine doesn't radiate much heat as diesel engine do. pero kung over the hood mo kailangan hmmm...imo parang mababawasan yung good looks nya (bakit mo itatago yung ganda nya) but will prevent pebble chips on the paint
