as to whether ok ba egr or not, i dont know. mine is carryboy. but i see so many EGRs on the road. the problem with popular brands is that they are magnets for "pirates"!
but i would like to "think" that goldcars, being one of the bigger shops in banawe, would not risk claiming an original if it is not. but you never can tell.
another problem when buying in the malls is installing it. it may seem simple installing it on your own but dont be fooled. you could be biting off more than you could chew. sa goldcars, libre na installation, may pwede ka pang sisihin! hehehe![]()
Alin po ba kaya mas maraming advantages, diesel A/T or gas A/T?
anyone here who have the same problem???

How many years do you want to keep the car?

I intend to keep my innova maybe for 5-7 years or maybe more..Putting aside yong fuel consumption, kasi sa province lang naman gagamitin, and walang traffic at hindi naman kalayuan ang travel (actually service lang ng mga kids pagpunta sa school), alin kaya talaga ang mas practical and more advantageous to acquire?
Read the other day that when you run your car on a cold engine, it uses up 20% more fuel. Question: How long do you wait before you take off and what level is your temperature.
For my Innova, I normally wait until the inicator reaches the lower line of the temp gauge. Does anyone know what the best practice is?
Also, another stat i read is that for every PSI below the recommended level (per wheel) A car runs less efficiently by 2%. Share ko lang for those who are FC conscious.

I think most diesel buyers main consideration is the lower price/liter and (some say) the better mileage on every liter of fuel. If FC is not a concern/factor - then the gas variant may be the car for you.
After starting the engine, there is no need to stay in idle to wait for the temp to reach normal operating level (roughly less than 1/2 the temp gauge). Doing so would waste more fuel. What should be done is, drive off smoothly at low speeds (20 - 40 kph - when and where road conditions permit) until normal operating temp level is reached (it would take around 1 km of driving to do so).
Pls. read the owner's manual. It says suggests something similar.
