    Hi Albriones,

I feel that you should let the casa check the dome light, since your ride is new and under warranty, doesn't matter how small the problem, in fact the casa should buy you a starbucks while waiting coz they delivered your ride with defects

    To fellow innova peeps,

If I wax my ride, how long does it usually last, and in between should I wash it with water lang or pwede car shampoo??

    Thanks

    Gil

How long will it last? it depends on what type of wax did you use. You will need to know more than just waxing to make your car finish last longer, you will need to know surface preparation, proper cloth to use, type of waxes, and proper application.

Some people rub their cleaning cloth too hard on the surface, thus creating a lot of swirls and looks dull, rather than making their car shine perfectly.

IMO, try to invest in good SYNTHETIC WAX that can last longer, and it is more appropriate with our weather condition. What you are actually paying these car detailers on their paint protection program is the synthetic wax they apply prior to proper surface preparation. Synthetic wax last for 3-6 months and not just weeks compared to carnuba wax.

Carnuba waxes and quick detailing waxes is not good in our weather condition of heat and rains, dust and sand tends to embed within the thin coat of carnuba waxes and making your car surface rough.

I suggest that you try to read on the "Auto Painting and Detailing Talk" here in tsikot for more info.

Does anyone know the offset of the stock rim? Plan ko rin magpalit ng rims and tires for my Innova. TIA.

Questions:
    1. Yuon bang participation na 4.5K is about right for our innova? Di ko kasi maintindihan yung insurance ko.
    2. Do any of you know a shop in Banawe that sells original parts ng innova like the rear lights? I know that if there is one, it would be cheaper compared sa casa ng mga 15%? I know that shops like toyorama sells toyota parts that are original and hindi nakaw dahil kumpleto sa kahon at selyadong plastic?! Itry ko rin tumawag bukas.
If this is the case, takbo na ko ng banawe tomorrow at di ko na patatagalin to.

Pero kung mas mura yung papalitan kaysa sa participation, then have it done outside.

gud day sir mile2 & all tsikoteers!

just joined 2 days ago and planing to purchase
innova these coming x'mas and need some info regarding the d4d problem of the diesel variant. i am frm abra and decided the d4d engine because of its high torque and fuel efficiency which is suitable in our province but my concern is the d4d problem na nbabasa dito sa informative site na ito, are these problem still present in their new models/units (2007-2008)? the nearest toyota service center is Dagupan (about 230kms)can i consider the gas powered engine para mkasigurado?

    tenks in advance!

Thanks Ms. Liv and Mile2. Naconfirm ko na kanina sa Marikina na 4.5K yung participation ko and the price of the taillight is 3.5K so there is no point in a claim. Might just go sa casa tomorrow, anyway may 10% discount ako doon. Thank you ulit.

di ko masyadong gusto yung tail lights... parang copycat nga ng Avanza yung grille nya... ok naman sakin yung bumpers... no choice ako kundi gustuhin na rin yung new looks nya kasi Innova pa rin kukunin namin pag inavail na ni hubby yung car plan nya next year kaya we will be forced na ibenta si Baby J namin.
