Si Mile2 yata bro....

My FC now improves to 10.5 Km/li minimum on my daily trip to SJDM Bulacan-Quirino Highway-Commonwealth-EDSA-Makati and back. (with 8 yappies on board). KM run now reaching 13K, mineral oil, regular spark plugs.

My FC improves after my trip to Pangasinan, I run 100-130km/hr on NLEX. Innova is really a very stable ride, simply the best

Same FC with my J - VVTI. However, I haven't attained the 13 km/li yet.

Nasa iyo na yon kung papabayaan mong marumi. For me okay ang beige, mas madaling makita kung marumi so the tendency ay lilinisin mo agad. Madali naman linisin just use two MF Cloth (one dry and one soaked with dish washing liquid). Wipe the dirt out with wet cloth with dish washing and wipe clean with dry cloth. Pati sa ceiling ganito ginagawa ko.

Beige interior for me is better, mas maliwanag tignan at looks neat.

ok aman walang sabit yung sa akin. better ng konti ang nitrogen sulit yung 200pesos.
got everything (mags/tires/ audio/video) from R System sa ATC.

sir natanong mo na ba sa casa kung walang effect sa crdi natin yong 1% cme blend sa diesel...it maybe one possibility kaya umilaw yong malfunction but thank god at ndi naman na stall hehehe ...because of 1% cme blend sa diesel natin is it advisable to replace fuel filter earlier than when it suppose to...

that's my concern also. whether the 1% biodiesel is harmful to D4D or not coz CRDI engines are sensitive. I've posted that question in this thread but it was not answered. seems tsikoteers who post in this thread are not aware of the potential danger of the biofuel in our ride engine or deadma lang.

i've posted the same question in the biodiesel thread but it was not addressed also. all tsikoteers posting in that thread are just too ecstatic on the biofuel act that it seems biodiesel had no disadvantage whatsoever

Hello Tsikoteers,

Just want to share our experience with our ride. Tagal ko na din hindi nakapagbasa dito sa post kasi bakasyon ako dito sa Pinas for a month now at enjoy ako sa pag-drive ng Innova!!! So far no problem ang Innova J D4D(manual) namin. Syempre as expected naman dapat talaga walang problema kasi bago.....Acquired last March 7th and 3400 km na ang odo. Natry ko na din i accelerate to 140 KPH with aircon at half dial. Nung i-off ko yung aircon naramdaman ko yung pick up pa ng speed pero binitawan ko na kasi kabado na din ako (I would not recommend this option na sudden off ng aircon to pick up more speed at baka makasira sa mga ride natin nito). Ni try ko lang sya just for a cause to see kung meron pang ibubuga yung makina to further speed up.

~Synthetic oil ang pinalagay namin at 1K PMS. at sabi next 10k na daw ang change oil ulit. Sa 5k PMS nalang eh change oil filter na muna.~

I post ko din yung "F"uel "C"onsumption namin next time pag punta namin ng Nasugbu this coming weekend. Will be cruisin' with my Uncle na may Fortuner G 2.7 VVTI naman ang ride nya at i compare namin ang FC namin both. Sabi naman ng tatay ko roughly "14 Km/l" ang computation nya nung magpunta sila sa Manaog Pangasinan. Sa experience ko ng pagsakay ko while tatay ko ang nagdrive eh masasabi kong sobrang tipid talaga sa pagtapak sa accel kasi halos 1.5 - 1.8 rpm pa lang nagpapalit na sya to lower gear at ramdam ko yung medyo nginig ng makina habang pabilis ang takbo at di sya lumalagpas to 80 Kph na takbo at 5th gear.So tingin ko at this habit ma aattain nga yung FC na ganito.

Nga pala, nagpakabit din ako ng parking/backing sensor sa may opposite side ng Arlington near SM centerpoint at yung papuntang Banawe. Tabi-tabi silang shop dun at marami ding customers mostly mga setup na kotse. Hindi ko kasi alam yung street na yun. Anyway, kabado kasi ako na baka ma void yung warranty ng innova namin. I had asked the Toyota Agent kung pwede magpakabit sa labas at ang advise nya bilhin ko daw yung unit tapos sa kanila ipakabit at bayaran na lang yung magkakabit. Pero nung nagpunta naman ako dun sa shop sabi naman na hindi ma void ang warranty at marami na ding nagpakabit sa kanila ng backing sensor na yun.

Tingin nyo po ba ma void yung warranty sa pagpakabit ko ng Backing Sensor??????

Yung unit pala ay HUGE SUN I ang tatak at 1,700 pesos kasama na installation mas mura compared dun sa pinagtanungan naming mga shops sa Banawe. Di ko nga lang sure how reliable this unit is pero okay naman sya so far, already 1 week installed.

Yung fog lamps nasa 3,500 pesos both Banawe at yung lapit sa Arlington pareho lang ang presyo pero di pa kami nag bargain so siguro mag bababa pa sila ng presyo.

Yung lang po muna! Hope to get reply from you guys about the void warranty kung magpa-install ng parts sa labas.

Mine is an 05 model J - D4D variant with 49K on the odometer.

I encountered this problem around 43-45K. Check engine light always on for almost 2 months. When I brought it back to the dealer (Shaw / TSI), they said it's a faulty crimping of the wire of one of the sensors but there is not need to worry. But as the days passed by, I noticed that it was running roughly and consumption was bad. around 9km/L and there was black smoke.

eventually, they told me that it was a problem with the EGR valve. They changed it for free and the check engine light was gone. I left it with TSI for 2 days (i think).

now i'm back to a good 14km/L city and 18km/L highway.

daily route: Pasig / Cainta - Ateneo - Intramuros - Ateneo - Pasig - Ortigas - Pasig / Cainta


Before this, may isa pang naging problema. Supply pump naman kaya namamatay hanggang sa di na nagstart yung oto. TSI sent a couple of service people sa house to reprogram the OBD II para mastart yung oto and then bring it to TSI.

To all Innova a/t owner's, I have a problem wd my brake pedal, may alog ang break pedal ko. Do you experience the same? Ang ingay lalo na sa rough road.
I went to toyota balintawak north they said it is normal. I told them that all my vehicle is a/t i dont experience the same thing, i also told them that Coverted SUV's have that but not Innova. Umalis nalang ako asar nako e but my agent call me she said balik mo papagawa daw nya.I told her at my 5k pms nalang ako babalik.

Malapit lapit yang dealer mo sa Banawe. Pwede munang umikot and scout for accessories of interest. But 6 hours is lenghty. Mine took only close to 3 hours. I checked my unit in at 9:30 am and was released before lunchtime. Mas matagal pa nga ang PMS eh.

what year/month you got your ride? was your brod iinova also had rear axle replaced?

Mine is Feb 2005 and not included in the recall...

yung recall letter na na-receive ko is for my brother's Innova. Nasa states kc brother ko & nasa akin muna yung Innova niya para di naman maluma sa garahe nya. May 2005 nabili ng brother ko yung Innova.

Anyway, it took 4 hours sa Toyota Quezon Ave. 7.30am - 11.30am. Meron pala silang outing sa Zambales on the afternoon kaya half-day lang open yung service. Di tuloy mawala sa isip ko kung minadali ang trabaho o ganun lang talaga kabilis yung pag replace ng axle shaft.

Di ko pa nasilip yung ilalim & di ko gaano ginamit nung Innova nung mother's day & election day kaya di ko pa alam kung ayos yung pagkabit nila ng axle shaft.

Tungkol sa Warranty, I checked this with one SA sa TMI. Usually daw pwedeng ma-void pag may ginalaw sa wiring/electrical or any changes sa mechanical kaya they don't usually recommend na mag-pa-install ng mga accessories sa labas pag within warranty period (syempre para kumita din Casa)...

In case magka-problem yung sasakyan mo, pwede nilang i-verify kung ang cause ng problem ay yung ipinalagay mong accessories...

Sa case ko, I just changed the mags and tires. Pwede daw ma-void yung warranty ng Shock Absorber pero matitibay naman daw yung part na iyon...

bago lang po me d2 sa site could anyone pls help me.. gusto ko po sana malaman ang wiring color code ng toyota innova. gusto ko po kasing manually palitan ang stock na car stereo ko ng sony dvd player. kaso nawala yung owners manual ko. innova j dsl po ride ko. and any tips would be helpful thank you po.

sino na po ba ang nagpapalit ng shocks sa casa? gaano katagal? yung unit ko kasi 3 shocks ang may leak. right front and both rear.

Alabang Town Center near the Church. located along the row of auto shops there= roadstar,nodalos, ride, midas, and LTO. Near the cinema of ATC also.

your welcome, i hve plan also to change the mags and tires...your ride is 245/45/18 is 15mm higher 30mm bigger on diameter to the stock mags and tires
ledoresjomar 235/70/18 is 70 mm higher 139.85 bigger on diameter... pwede pa pala to... i am wondering how the front tires play in rough roads ndi kaya sumasayad sa fender....
