Bro, FRONT or REAR? Yung sa akin-REAR. Masiado na silang malambot. Already scheduled for replacement. Sooner or later kasi spring nalang ang magwo-work.

sa casa meron. Its a Solex rebranded Toyota lock. It costs Php 3,033.33 when I bought it last April 2006. Its expensive but in terms of durability, quality, etc, it seems better than those being sold by other manufacturers.

Grabe, dami na pala may leaking suspension sa Innova nila! I wonder if this is the same for the Fortuner or Hilux owners, seeing that all three vehicles share the same parts bin.

Walang immobilizer even the first batch. At wala ding impact sensor for the alarm.

saw that one already when we first got the car at toyota otis but had second thoughts buying it because its expensive. we thought of looking for an alternative in banawe which is much cheaper but never expected that we will fall prey to those thieves this soon. we saw a similar item in banawe which costs only 1.5K but didn't buy it because the one in toyota looks much more durable. will buy na lang ung nasa casa, costs 3,5K. thanks bro

Just wondering out loud, why doesnt an Innova J have the rear wiper and washer even when the (much lower priced) taxi edition of the Avanza has it? Let me guess, so that the Innova J can be differentiated with the Innova E, on outward appearance?

siguro nga sir. gusto ko nga palagyan ng wiper sa likod ang unit ko kaya lang parang wala pa akong narinig na nalagyan ng ganun.

Hassle kong palagyan sa labas. Ibabarena pa yung rear hatch tapos at baka kalawangin pa (yung butas). Too much hassle talaga.

Nothing beats oem factory installation, hands down.

magtatanong lang po. my unit is d4d M/T. last night i experienced na pag inistart ko na yung unit ko namamatay ulit ung engine. kahit po kanina umaga ganun din. inapakan ko na lang yung acceleration pedal para wag mamatay kaagad. pag release ko naman di na namamatay. i tried more than 30x pag start lagi namamatay. kaya lagi ko na lang inaapakan kaagad. i checked naman yung fuel filter walang tubig. ano po kaya ito?

tumawag po ako sa SA ng toyota. i explain them about what happened. i told them na namamatay engine everytime i start the engine (parang choked kya namamatay).. but once i stepped on the acceleration pad and released it stable na yung engine and hindi na namamtay. they said reprogram lang daw. they told me to bring it to them para mareprogram. i bought my unit feb. 2006. ODO 30k. yesterday lang nangyari. malas nga e.

Tama nga sir. Magbubutas sila sa likod para malagyan ng wiper na pwedeng magin cause ng kalawang. Yung sa spoiler nga pala, kung may nagpakabit sa inyo, check nyo for any rust. Kasi may drilling ng ginagawa na usually daw eh tumutulo minsan , nabanggit lang sa akin ng isang SA...

Hi there! It's been a while since i last posted in this forum. Anyway, about the impact sensor, i guess mine is active. Last new year's eve my alarm was activated by a very load fire cracker. but one thing i noticed in the morning there was this dimple on the driver side door which i think was caused by a stone probably caused by the same from cracker. Am not sure if the alarm was triggered by the firecracker or the thing that hit the side of the door. Anyway, this proves that the impact sensor is active.

As regards the keys, if i can recall it right, it is mentioned in the manual that the engine cannot be started using a duplicate nor the 3rd key (without the remote). It has something to do with somekind of a proximity chip inside the remote wherein it has to be near the keyhole. A sensor in the keyhole senses this chip if not the engine wont start. Well, anyway i'll chechk it also again in the manual and maybe test it on my unit and give you feedback. BTW mine is D4D G manual acquired october 06.

And one thing nga pala if i may ask, meron ba kayong nilagay na protection sa lower part ng door na inaapakan. Maramirami na kasing gasgas e and i did not install a step board. Ano kaya ang pwede at saan mabibili. Mine kasi is black and though my unit is running perfectly, the only negative thing i can say with my unit is that napakanipis ng paint at madaling magasgas.

Maraming salamat people at isa ako sa mga tagahanga ng site na ito. dami ko natututunan. TY.

sir i have here the manual of my colleague his innova is "g" 2005 vvti and yes it is mention that the engine wont start using other keys apart from that specific keys that's why am asking the other day if somebody try this before...i'm not in phil and had no chance of when i was there...

Bro. follow up lang , regarding the shock sensor di ko pa na test kasi takot akong katokin yung ride ko baka mapisa pero I do recal na one instance nasagi lang ng misis ko nag alarm na siya pero the following day inuga ko pero di naman siya nag alarm hmmmm medyo nahihiwagaan ako sa ride ko he he he regarding naman sa key thanks for reminding try ko bukas ng umaga yung valet key check ko kung mag start yung ride ko... kasi nakita ko sa manual yung picture ng key with immobilizer was different from the key ng ride na without immobilizer... yung itsura niya iba kasi... anyway tama ka dyan Bro. the best thing to do is to nake an actual check para malaman na ang dapat nating malaman sa ating mga ride....

You are right bro! If you read the manual dalawa yung picture na naka lagay, one for IMMOBILIZER and the other is for NON IMMOBILIZER. If you notice the keys with immobilizer are different especially the valet key. The valet key head is wrapped with black plastic/ceramic same with the two master keys. The valet key head for non immobilizer does'nt have this black thing or bakal lang. In other words yung unit natin does not have this IMMOBILIZER. I tried it though with my valet key and the engine starts. Then when I look and read the manual again I noticed that my unit does not have this IMMOBILIZER because of the picture of valet key indicated in the manual. I don't know with Innova V. Impact sensor, I havnt tried it yet. Pero medyo weird yung unit ko kasi minsan nag auto lock siya pag bumaba ako at hindi ko pinindut yung lock sa remote. Minsan naman hindi naman siya mag auto lock. Kaya para sigurado pinipindut ko na lang yung lock. Mahirap na baka mamaya mag assume ako na mag auto lock tapos di pala. patay!

sir yong innova mo ba is 'g' 2005 model...i am pessimistic with the recent model ng innova because toyota is known to do less feature year after year to stay in competetive pricing...2005 model has immobilizer (tvss) and it mention also sa motion cars review...previous model from specs it mention only keyless entry with alarm...if our unit doesn't have immobilizer guys do you have an idea about the cost if case installed it....
