As for all of you guys having problems with your cd/mp3 player. I remove mine and added a Pioneer Mp3/AAC/WMA/WAV player. And trashed those lousy speakers for some 260 Watt Speakers and a nice 300 Watt Sub, Powered by a 500 x 4 WATT Infinity.

How much did you cost for the complete upgrades?

Have checkd and ok naman yung seatbelt. The rattling/vibrating sound is really coming mula sa loob ng sidings. Lalo na pag malakas yung music na heavy ang bass. It is quite annoying really....

Your unit is the J variant, right? If so, there are only two speakers installed, one on each front door. The speakers most likely reached its limits (stock speakers are not good to start with) kaya sumasabog ang tunog (esp. for deep bass).

When you say sidings, it means the interior side panels, right? All the other possible causes I can think of are:

1.) seatbelts buckle sandwiched bet. seats which hits the plastic siding esp. during bump roads.

2.) second row seats are not properly secured.

3.) if the third row seats are folded upright, check for any slacks.

Bro, yun bang ipanalit mong player same mounting siya? If yes, can you post here the dimensions that will fit the same location. In the near future Iam planning to replace it with player equipped with DVD. By the way, anyone knows the price of ROOF-MOUNTED SCREEN W/ DVD PLAYER 86690-YZA01 and ROOF-MOUNTED SCREEN 86881-YZA03 from TOYOTA?

single din lang ang ipinalit ko na HU (pioneer) you have to buy a side spacer para hindi masagwa ang mounting. Nga pala to complete the naglagay ako ng pocket sa ilalim ng stereo para ma occupy ung 2 din opening ng dash natin.

Kay Mickeys autosound. side spacers 300, ung pocket mga 1k yata (Im not sure na kasi last yaer ko pa ito nabili) pocket fits perfectly under the HU parang factory installed.

I recalled that you have your HU replaced because it does not read cds anymore. I had mine pulled out too. According to the SA the unit is now ready for reinstallation this weekend. In your experience, how were you able to know if the unit was replaced or only repaired or just cleaned?

Dont have any proof if they replace or just repaired it... but I beleieve they replace not the whole thing only the CD player portion only. Up until now no problem coz i always use CDR when using the CD player... IMO just use and use it before warranty expire... HTH..

Thanks for the reply. I got mine re-installed last weekend. I was not able to talked to the SA if the unit was replaced. However, I believed that it was not. It was just only repaired. It is now working fine so far. All the discs I tried were read and played. I hope the problem wont recur in a jiffy. Abala din kasi magparepair.

Any idea here? My unit is G-gas A/T and I have this annoying rattling sound (kalampag) coming from the driver side front wheels everytime na medyo malubak ako. Had it checked by Toyota Manila Bay several times already, laging sinasabi may hihigpitan lang daw. Last time, yung step boards daw and dahilan and I was made to pay for the rubber dampers. Kaso mo, ganon parin. Finally, the SA told my driver that they have to hold my unit for 3 days AT LEAST dahil sa general services daw gagawin. Sucks! Three days kang maaabala because of what is obviously a factory defect? I told them i awould agree if they would provide me with a service unit since FD nga 'to. Hindi raw sila nag poprovide ng service unit. I was just actually forcing the idea of repairing my unit in a reasonably shorter period of time. Can't believe the deterioration of Toyota service. any suggestion guys?

^Even Toyota Bicutan-Paranque is like that! They are VERY reluctant to replace anything even if its already considered a factory. defect! They will keep on squirming, hoping you'll forget about the problem or if their tactics work, be lulled into thinking it is fixed.

How about having another dealer look at it for a second opinion?

mine is 2.5dsl m/t. i also notice na pagnalulubak ay makalampag. ramdam na ramdam mo lalo na sa manibela. also irritating yung sound na bog, bog! na pag nalulubak. should be wala kang madidinig na ganon, diba? could be the shocks? im planning to inform SA and have it check. bagsak na bagsak yung tunog pag nalulubak kahit pa may sakay ka 4 or 5 persons. should be wala diba dahil maglalaro yung shocks mo. i just noticed this.. baka parehas tayo ng observation. i just replaced 1 front SHOCK na may leak. nung napalitan yung shock medyo okay na yung tunog dun sa unahan. kaya i think baka sa shocks din ang problema.

yup pwede. i bought my unit sa ibang dealer. after 3pms. i decide to transfer to another casa dahil terrible ang service nila( i dont care anymore sa discount na binibigay nila). wala silang naayos sa claim ko. instance na lang yung front shock. i report it to them na may leak. pero tsinek daw nila wala daw. i brought it sa toyota balintawak. dun pinalitan yung shock ng unit ko without any charge at all kasi under warranty. check mo muna unit mo. if under warranty pa dalhin mo para ipacheck at evaluate.

AFTER FINISHED MY 10K PMS MATIGAS YUNG HANDBRAKE NG UNIT KO NG NILABAS KO ( I THINK BECOZ OF ADJUSTMENTS BEEN MADE SA BRAKES) PERO AFTER 2 WEEKS BUMALIK SYA SA DATING LAMBOT. IM NOT SURE ABOUT WARRANTY. PERO KUNG MAY SIRA I THINK COVERED NG WARRANTY

pag bago adjust ang brakes medyo matigas talaga ang handbrake. libre naman ang pacheck nyan dahil under warranty pa.

After my 5k check bigla din tumigas hand brake ko but at the same time it only needs a few clicks up to stop the car.

hello....para sa mga wala pang nakainstall na rear spolier, recommend ko si sanny c34x4, nakuha ko ng 4000 lang ung sa akin with lights na, g ung variant ko , pero pinalagay ko with lights pa rin, 8500 kasi sa casa eh
