Hello everyone! I have appeared here several times now. We got our innova unit last June 4, 2007, Innova G, mid silver, gas, M/T. It now has a 1051 km reading and is set for a PMS this week. Aside from PMS, I'd like to request for a door alignment coz i just noticed that the driver door side panel is missed aligned. Don't get me wrong, i didnt hit anything or ran into any collision. I also like to include a paint retouch for a small chip in the paint in the door edge area. Does anyone of you have experienced situations like these?

Another thing, like most of the guys here, we still don't have the plate number for our ride considering that it is already one month after the release. My request ending is 8. If caught by the LTO or police for no plate no travel policy, May I ask what is the difference between the papers: Sales invoice and authorization to drive from LTO?

Wala pang lumalabas dito na complaints for 2007 versions, so we may be able to assume that this problem was really connected to a specific batch of injectors.

Hi Killua,
You can actually use your unit without license plates for a week using only your sales invoice. The sales invoice usually indicates your purchased unit and date of release. The dealer provides an updated sales invoice so the owner can extend the use of the unit for a week (legitimate use of conduction sticker). Although this does not assure you from getting caught "no plate no travel" policy, your Authorization to drive from LTO should help.

I got my plates after 2 mos and 5 days. I had no Authorization from LTO. Only extended Sales invoices. Luckily, never got apprehended. Syempre, I'm always excited to use my Innova.

Sir, Jan 2006 ko nakuha yung unit ko.Ang production date nya September 2005, so far ok naman, di ko pa na experience ang choking problem,23,500 odo.

hi guys were planning to buy an innova e d4d and i have read many comments about their d4d engine, any developments on these engine? does toyota have resolve their problem on d4d or tsambahan lang talaga? kia carans or innova?

I believe na corrected na ito. I heard that new releases of D4D are trouble-free.

Paint retouch can be done same day. TMBC did a paint touch up on my front and rear bumper with noticeable scratches in one hour as if nothing happened. They will put the newly painted area on a bright light (infrared as told by the painter).

Actually I was sidesweep by a pickup truck on my right fender, so pinasok ko sa insurance, pero yung mga scratches sa bumpers na singlaki ng butong pakwan pinalibre na lang

Toyota Makati has this promo P2500 or P3500 yata per panel and one day for those with minor dents and scratches. You will see a big banner when you visit Toyota Makati. They have also a promo on de-carbonizing for older vehicles and diesel engines.

got mine jan 2007 but prod of 2nd half 2006, 6k++ odo so far no prob one click pa din anytime/anywhere...we went to baguio last sat galing ihataw all i can say the aerodynamics design and proportion of innova will gives more confident in this category in driving stability lalo na sa cornering like going to baguio where stiff road and sharp curve is so often...

Hello po sa lahat. I was wondering kung paano pinapalitan ang oil filter without changing the motor oil. I was thinking how this can be achieve for those already using fully synthetic motor oil. Di ba nga po, this type of oil is good for 10,000 km. but you need to change the oil filter on the 5,000th km. Hindi ba mag spill yung oil? or there is a valve that will prevent the spillage?

Maraming salamt po sa mga sasagot ng katanungan kong eto.

I guess if you will not remove the dipstick and oil cap on the cylinder head cover , oil will not spill out that hard when you remove the oil filter. The vacuum inside the engine block will prevent the oil from spilling.

my Innova bought June 2006. odo 2k . no problem so far dahil bihira ko lang gamitin asa abroad ako pero bilib ako sa d4d ng toyota, mine production was april 2006

Mile2, you can bargain their P2,500 promo. I had a bumper repaint last month because of a deep scratch. Initial estimate was P2,500 but was able to haggle for a discount. They just charged me P2,000. Fortunately, June ang aming birth month. I just presented my Makati gift card, got a 10% discount. So, P1,800 na lang binayaran ko
