Our innova D4d matic has no problems. 6,000 kms na natatakbo. gamit din namin shell diesel. baka sa D4d na M/T may problema, sa matic na D4d wala.

sa mga naka experience ng choking issues:

larshell- no bd - findings: faulty fuel pump (not clear if priming pump of the fuel filter or the pump itself)
altec- with bd - correction done: tighten fuel filter.
Lord - with bd - correction done: reset ecu.

Especially with Larshell who didn't use BD, similar problem but different ang mga solutions, although I have doubts with the faulty fuel pump findings, because if it is faulty, no remedial measures will make the choking problem go away. I doubt if it is BD as of now, especially if someone else here experienced it without using BD.

yung sa akin, manual. But the choking problem is regardless of its tyranny. Both larshell and lord had their ecu resetted, and the problem went away. I didn't have mine resetted. Imperial mentioned a friend of his experiencing the same choking issues, but didn't mention if his friend used BD or not. Lord, tanong ko sa iyo, when you used estrol, did you check the BD if it was contaminated? I mentioned the possibility of clogging due to contaminated BD, which was discussed at the biodiesel thread both here in tsikot and over at kotse.com. Naka estrol pa rin ako, at 1% blend, but I now have the estrol checked prior to pouring, and by next month, mag bioactive na ako, after maubos yung estrol stocks ko.

I have mine installed but not khaos brand, but of similar technology, you can check the pics at my yahoogroups...

My Diesel MT model up to now wala naman problems approaching 10K check-up na. Ang tipid nga sa diesel around 9.5 km/liter sa city driving. I just use either Shell diesel or Petron. Very rare ko nga buksan yung hood the car, tingin lang ako kung may coolant pa.

Khaos or any similar air-bleed device doesn't work. Period.

Hi Guys,

Im planning to change the stock rims of my tires. Oks ba yung 17" na mag wheels? Rota yata ang magandang brand eh. Have to change the tires also. Ano ba ang recommended na laki na mag wheels na hindi ma co compromise yung performance ng innova natin?

Mine is 17" tires 225/55/r17 my experience nag improve yong ride ng innova ko ok ang 17" rims ng rota, i also got rota chrome. Dami pogi points nyan. But i suggest wag nalang kasi baka mag loko din supply pump mo sayang lang.

Lately I've been experiencing the same thing na namamatay agad ang engine pag cold start so kailangan sundan agad ng accelerator para hindi mamatay. Hmmmn... I think my biodiesel is really the culprit. Before naman hindi ko nararanasan ito. Siguro talagang hindi naka design ang biodiesel sa CRDi engines.

So pang 4th kana dito palang sa mga Innova Thread pano pa kaya yong walang access sa internet and yong mga di alam yong forum nato.This is really bad.
I remember i did ask yong nag trouble na wont start at all yon Innova nya, baka sirain din ang CRDi ng Innova well sabi ni kuyapete 1 in 5k unit is not bad kaya bumili nako but i dont blame anybody its my own decision. But indi 1 in 5k unit to, So meaning my Bug sa ECU ang Innova diesel or CRDi talaga sana Bug lang sa ECU kasi kung Bug lang mas madaling ayusin.

Thanks! So there is a problem pala if you change the rims to 17". How about 16" (meron ba non)? Or are we stuck forever to our 15" rims?

i agree with you sir, around 9.5 km/ltr din ang fuel consumption ng diesel m/t ko kasama na ang occasional na hataw, binubuksan ko lang din ang hood ko para hanginan ang makina( so dust and dirt wont accumulate) hindi kasi ako nagpapa engine wash( it might affect the electronics especially the sensors)

innova_G, also if you are not concerned about voiding your innova's warranty (given that its not been 3 yrs yet), then you could try putting the fuel saving device in your innova if it helps improve fuel efficiency.

HELP!! NAMAN.. nagbigay kami ng DP sa toyota pasong tamo kanina lang pero ung unit e ilalabas ng by last week ng november or 1st week ng december. KC uuwi ako by 2nd week ng december, ang first choice ko is G M/T D4D Night mist, tapos pinaplitan ko ng beige mica, then ngaun, nung nagbayad ang mom ko sabi nya ang pangit daw ng beige plus ang dami n daw meron nun, kc ako d nagandahan sa night mist sa picture, kaya sabi ko beige..ngaun pinupush ko ung agent ko na palitan ng night mist..pero ang dinadahilan nya is mahirap daw kumuha ng kulay na iyon pero noong una d nmn nya cnsabi un..tapos daw naipakabit na nya ung spoiler at ung roof rail..e sabi ko bakit mo agad pinakabitan e d pa kami nagbabayad....

Ganun ba talaga un o pwede ko pa papalitan e kc d p nmn nya nadedeliver...

Ano ba mas maganda NIGHT MIST or BEIGE MICA!!

pag hindi mo tinanggap yung unit na may spoiler and roof rail na, malamang matatagalan ka ulit sa pagkuha mo ng unit. i believe it all boils down kung what you really wanted in the first place. both are nice colors naman IMO.

wala naman problema sa pagpalit ni sir larshell sa rims niya, sa engine nagkaproblema ang ride niya, the way i look at it , ang sinabi lang niya ay baka magkaroon ka rin ng problema sa engine kung papalitan mo ang rims mo, he mean't it as a joke lang siguro.
