My understanding is it's specific to classification suggestion. Nag recommend kasi ang octa na kung aling Province and city ang higpitan ang quarantine.

Hindi din naman filtered air ang na iinhale mo using surgical masks. It only catches the droplets when you cough or exhale, but won’t block bacteria or virus from surrounding air that you breathe.

If going indoors best use N95/KN94/KN95 respirators or better.

surgical mask will protect your nose and mouth from contact with droplets, and/or sprays that may contain virus. also it filters out large particles in the air.

I think it still offers better protection than a mask that's exposed on the chin area. and the price, 380 for the coppermask and 4 pesos for the surgical mask hehe.

It won't filter out air you breathe, air will flow from openings of least resistance, which is all sides of the face mask.

As have been told by numerous experts ever since, you wear masks to protect others. The droplets from the air you exhale will stick to the inside of the mask, so they won't be floating around when you breath and speak or cough or sneeze.

yep, low chance of protecting you i.e. slightly better than nothing but viruses still get through and you still get sick
