I think you entirely missed the point. The poster is describing how treacherous this virus is. Even if the alert level is totally removed, asymptomatic carriers would still be around for months or perhaps years.

i understand the situation and how it came to be.
i hope we all learn from it.

    even during better times,
    to be sure,
health check-up with laboratory testing, before employment...

i hope the rest of the family are all asymptomatic...
if they are, think of it this way...
    "na-bakunahan na kayo".

i hope the mom pulls thru.

“But when MCQ started, we thought that we are already safe”

It very clear that they thought MECQ = no more virus

At the end of the day, we should never let our guards down, at least until we are inoculated. I bet the vaccine for Covid-19 would be one of the required vaccines for infants. And it will be a required shot for adults that needs to be updated regularly like flu shots.

Whats worrying is the family thought it's safe because the quarantine was relaxed. Who's to say there are people who wouldn't translate it the same way? Lighter quarantine = safer to go out? Media should make people understand that the lockdown was for our healthcare system to prepare, not to reduce or fight the virus.

Buti nabasa ko ito. I was gonna start pa naman na papa renovate yun isang room next week para ma convert na to a proper home office. Strip-off the built-cabinets, replace the laminate floorings paint the wall and fix kung anong masira while demolishing the cabinets.

Pero ok lang pag sa labas lang bahay magpahawa? Wala lalapit sa gagawa, I'm gonna have the gate converted to a folding type.

for me the easing of lockdown from ECQ to MECQ to GCQ has more to do with reopening the economy than with getting the virus under control

so i wouldn't have interpreted ECQ to MECQ = safe

it's unfortunate that there are people who interpreted it that way

    --

in fairness the lockdown was able to slow down the virus

if there was no lockdown the growth of cases would be expontential (1 to 3, 3 to 9, 9 to 27, and so on)

the lockdown slowed it to sub-exponential growth

dahil sa thread na ito mas well-informed tayo than most people

thanks to Monseratto's daily updates, alam natin mataas ang infection rate sa mga squatters' area

ung mga stay-out na katulong, laborer etc saan sila nakatira?

hindi ba sa mga ganyan area?

so after ma-ease ang lockdown balik trabaho sila ano mangyayari?

    diba?

For me the shift to GCQ has 100% to do with the economy and politics and not containment of the virus. If we go by the data, we should be going the opposite way back to ECQ because the number of infections has risen sharply the past few days.

it's unfortunate that there are people who interpreted it that way
It's the government's responsibility to be clear in their messaging so that there are few possible misinterpretations. Not everyone can read and understand well, or read between the lines. They shouldn't have to. But in this case it seems to be a conscious effort to give a false sense of security just so the economy can reopen. And that is dangerous.
