if i were you, pagpapaliban ko na muna iyang project mo. why tempt fate di ba?

papalinis ko na din sana iyong drainage namin at magpa-punta ng gardener pero it's too risky especially may senior sa amin.

aside from that, hindi din nagpapasok ng laborers pa ang village namin unless may specific request so i reckon those things can wait.

For me the shift to GCQ has 100% to do with the economy and politics and not containment of the virus. If we go by the data, we should be going the opposite way back to ECQ because the number of infections has risen sharply the past few days.

It's the government's responsibility to be clear in their messaging so that there are few possible misinterpretations. Not everyone can read and understand well, or read between the lines. They shouldn't have to. But in this case it seems to be a conscious effort to give a false sense of security just so the economy can reopen. And that is dangerous.
yes the gov't has to make it clear that easing the lockdown doesn't mean there's no more virus

problem is if the gov't keeps emphasizing it, the public would go "so why are you easing the lockdown?!"

    hirap eh

delikado nanaman ang amerika w/ all those close contact race riots in minnesota and atlanta. very reminiscent of those los angeles city rodney king riots back in the 90's.

to hell w/ social distancing kasi nangunguna ang galit. understandable but still scary. expect another wave of covid19 infectees i na week or so

Just a lot poorer hehe. Not making enough to cover overhead. But at least nobody in the family got the virus so that's a win still, I guess. How's your Mom in the US? Been crazy there.

Yeah they are between a rock and a hard place. Still, I think emphasis on the danger is of utmost importance. People have a short memory.

Perwisyo talaga eh! So basically mag stop ang buhay natin for 2-3 years. In the sense na we can't do something without all the protocols in place muna.

So kailan pwede magpagawa? I have so many projects na delayed na. Buti yun roof na pinturahan and firewalls waterproofing then painting of exterior house was supposed to commence nun March pero wala na rin since tag-ulan na.

Then mga additional yun isang guest room nga pa convert ko na sa office nadeliver na yun officd table the other day and nilagay ko na pero naka bwisit yun built in cabinets, kaya dapat paalis na hinde mukhang office dahil sa cabinet. yun family room sa second floor hahatiin ko na rin gagawin na lang yun half as additional walk in closet then receiving room sa baba, papasabay ko na rin. All these renovations hinde magawa because of covid-19.

Wala lalapit sa gagawa, I'm gonna have the gate converted to a folding type.

Seryoso ka? Now it the WORST time to interact with people because everyone will be out and about. Kami nga lab tests and check up dinelay namin

We thought of having our help get covid testing pero wala din kwenta since they don't live with us. They can still get it any day.

I also don't trust yung nakatira dito sa bahay to do the proper precautions kaya everything that comes in the house ako nagre receive (which is SO tiring pala!)

So I was thinking kahit konti-konti meron matapos kung yun sa mga labas naman.

Ano ba talaga yun close contact? Sabi kasi.diba kahit sa Singapore basta ourdoor it's relatively safe daw.

Paano ba talaga ang close contact?

Kung nasa labas ng bahay magtatrabaho and they wear face masks and wash their hands (with soap) from time to time and they don’t enter your house (set a boundary) then I think it will be safe naman.

But they will still come into contact with surfaces in your house. Basta ako thinking ko lahat ng tao may covid and everything they touch will have covid. Aapak sila sa floor so every end of the day you have to disinfect the whole area na ginalawan nila. Samin pag may delivery ng water, sa garage ko lang pinapapatong yung tubig pero everytime I would soap the garage floor, sobrang hassle.

Lahat ngayon mahirap gawin. Mag grocery lang pahirap na because you have to disinfect isa isa

everyday meron update from DOH re number of new cases

doon palang the signal is clear the virus is still spreading

meron breakdown ng number of cases per barangay

doon palang nakikita natin the virus is spreading in overcrowded communities

so it is beyond me how people who sound educated naman would let their guard down when publicly available information is signaling that the virus is still spreading

maybe those people don't follow the news

maybe all they do is watch netflix

maybe they're enjoying the lockdown so much they don't care about the news

they don't know about what areas are hotspots

it never crossed their minds that their stay-out maid probably lives in an overcrowded community

so after their experience they're telling everyone to keep their guard up which informed people never let down in the first place

    lesson: stay informed

But you can't guarantee that they will indeed be washing or from time to time ibaba yung face mask, esp since physical labor yan at mahirap huminga ng may mask.

Yun isa samin yung husband niya does delivery sa motorcycle, so imagine the interaction he has. I ask him to buy things for me pero bawal talaga pumasok sa bahay since puro seniors dito.

Hirap kasi ngayon bihira na gusto mag stay in

    my pet peeve.
    so we have 16,634 cases.
but how many have we tested?
i mean, this denominator will show just how widespread the infection is.
