Dapat kasi tulungan sila ng DICT para maka create ng reliable database system, para yung mga human error ay ma check even before pumasok sa database.
Halos lahat ng CP ay smartphones, lawak narin coverage ng data services hindi imposible magkaroon sila ng dynamic or real time na database ng covid test.

INCREASE IN REPORTED CASES DUE TO AGGRESSIVE VALIDATION

We would like to point out a number of factors that have contributed to the increase in daily reported cases.

The recent rollout of the COVIDKAYA information system has greatly sped up the verification process for confirmed cases.

The cases that were reported over the last few days reflect tests that were conducted the days and weeks prior. The reporting lag is due to delays in submission of results by laboratories and the manual verification process to ensure that each case is a unique individual.

We are coordinating with laboratories across the country to validate the data more quickly, and we will provide updates as soon as we are confident that we have an accurate picture of the situation.

We expect the numbers to continue to rise over the coming days as we continue catching up with the backlog in validation and as we conduct more tests nationwide.

We are at an important phase in the fight against the pandemic. We ask the public to continue practicing infection-prevention and control measures, such as proper hygiene and proper use of PPEs, because they are critical in the fight against COVID-19.

We have already instructed all health facilities, including all hospitals and laboratories, and local epidemiology and surveillance units to use COVID KAYA system. Only then will we be able to get real time data of confirmed cases. We intend to include these as part of licensing requirements in the coming week.

i can understand if you have 5000 new cases per day you wanna manipulate it downwards para di matakot ang mamamayan or para di lumabas na di kaya kontrolin ng gobyerno ang epidemic

Doc, assuming the database security, encoding, validation and result merging structure of COVIDKAYA meets the standards of a real time database, then its a good start, however, this system should be installed/applied mandatory to ALL sampling, testing labs and hospitals handling covid cases to be accurate and real time.

Hindi kasi technical people yang nasa DOH. Hindi tulad sa profession mo na you eat/validate/process/interpret data for breakfast.

2 sa mga kasamahan ko dito ang umuwi dyan last may 20.
- 6 hours daw naghintay sa airport bago dumating ang PCG/OWWA
- pagkatapos ng swabbing ay dinala sila sa Lotus Hotel
- yung iba 3 to 5 days ay labas na ang result at sila ay nakauwi na
- yung isang kasama namin sa kumpanya ay nakalabas after 8 days
- yung kasama ko sa project ay wala pa ang test result
- ang mga ito ay iisang eroplano lang ang sinakyan

ganito raw ang sistema - swab test by PCG, hotel allocation by OWWA, result at encoding by Red Cross, transport by DOTR.
