syempre kahit pa paano may interaction pa din ang mga kasama mo sa bahay. iyong hihingi ng tubig and pa-meryenda like what another tsikoteer said previously ay ilang possible instances. tapos hindi din maiiwasan makiki-cr din sila syempre. tapos may mga time din na hihingi ng instructions at opinions ang mga laborers sa mga house owner. eh usually ang mge help muna ang kakausapin tapos sila naman ang tatawag sa amo.

Yes kasi mas free ang movement ng mga tao kaya mas madali mag spread ang virus. Can you just imagine when there is public transportation na.

Now I credit card na sa delivery if I can, kasi pag abot ko pera e di less than 6 feet yun, so I just credit card at sinasabi ko sa delivery patong na lang sa may gate. Wala lang sila tip. Tapos before I pick up the package spray muna alcohol yung packagrle then my hands too.

Pati car ko pag lumabas ako (once a month), 2 days ko bilad sa araw, pag pasok garage linis agad gulong at car wash kasi yung car pwede may virus

Hayaan ko na rin wala ako maintenance sa katawan (hair, nails and waxing). Now I cut my nails super short, tie my hair in a pony and shave myself.

ano ba ang historical precedent dito nung mga panahon ng el tor/cholera pandemic nung 1960's and 1970's - w/c was less virulent but probably just as deadly? baka iyong mga medical practitioners natin dito makaka-share ng insight since napag-aralan naman nila iyan.

el tor is easy.
it spreads via oral-fecal route, i.e., when our food and water are infected by infected poop via poorly-cleaned hands or infected water.
it is not breathed in and out.
clean water, food, and hands. and proper poop disposal. that's all. we do it everyday. we just have to do it more conscientiously, that's all.

Eh kahit na bago mangyari itong incident sa Minnesota, most people have been disregarding the importance of social distance, mismong mga sa beach nagkukumpul kumpulan sila.

But you can't guarantee that they will indeed be washing or from time to time ibaba yung face mask, esp since physical labor yan at mahirap huminga ng may mask. Ang pinapayagan ko lang samin mag work yung mga halaman sa harap ng bahay, hindi papasok ng gate.

buti na lang dito nasunod iyong mga restrictions sa beaches, like sa siargao and el nido na inip na inip iyong mga stranded int'l tourists doon mag beach at mag surfing since very inviting iyong weather. frustrating nga daw but it looks like its paying off since halos walang confirmed cases daw doon. maybe even in boracay ganyan din situation.

not sure about moalboal though since madami din infectees sa cebu city. ewan lang kung may nakalusot.

for me the easing of lockdown from ECQ to MECQ to GCQ has more to do with reopening the economy than with getting the virus under control

so i wouldn't have interpreted ECQ to MECQ = safe

it's unfortunate that there are people who interpreted it that way

if there was no lockdown the growth of cases would be expontential (1 to 3, 3 to 9, 9 to 27, and so on)

the lockdown slowed it to sub-exponential growth

Akala nila kasi safe na since 200 or less than na lang yung mga new cases... parang they took the chances na yung 200 na yun malayo sa kanila or sa empleyado nila kaya malabo magkakacovid.. di nila na isip na its more than 100k talaga ang number...

Agree on this one. Basta no close contact and observe the health standards issued pwede na kaai outdoors naman pala ang work. Wala naman sila iaabot sa iyo eh.

Proper distancing lang nga kapag nakikipag-usap.

Basta immediate need na ipapagawa. Pero if pwede pa ipagpaliban kahit till July, maa okay na sa July na to see if medyo safe na nga.

Madaming masyadong natatakot sa covid even here in tsikot. Yes, it’s a novel disease. But we know the mortality is not high. Yes it’s extremely infectious, but we know how to prevent it (masks, hand washing, disinfections, etc.). And most hospitals, after 3 months of taking care of covid patients, would have already determined the best way to take care and cure the patients.

If you can afford not to go out at all, then good for you. You are one less person lingering outside.

But if everyone would think the same way and actually stayed home, and groceries and public markets are closed because no one could report to work. Restaurants will also be closed because they cannot buy the ingredients to cook their food, and also, the cooks will also be staying home.

Then what would everybody eat? Unless you have your own farm, plant your own fruits and vegetables, and some pigs, chickens and maybe cows.

What if you’re living in your luxury condo? You will eventually run out of food. And the government won’t be able to feed everyone forever.

I am in the essential foods business. I deliver food to groceries and public markets. I employ lots of drivers and delivery helpers. They are going out everyday to different public markets in different towns and provinces. They receive salaries and they can feed themselves and their families.

I have never stopped my operations during ECQ and now GCQ. Me and my wife also go to our office everyday, even our 2 children are in the office almost everyday. We require them to help in the office if they don’t have school.

We have been living as normal as possible since the pandemic began. But I am not complacent. I know I might catch the virus. But I do try to be as careful as I can. Not to the point of wearing full PPEs. I try to live as comfortable as I can, as safe as I can.

Luckily, I think, none of us, including all my employees, have catched the virus. Or maybe we are all asymptomatics already. I have never done covid tests, and I don’t have plans to do so, unless I will be required.

Since the first day of lockdown, I have provided Vitamin C + Zinc or Vitamin C + Calcium + D3, whichever is available, several washable face masks for each, and a bottle of alcohol in each delivery vehicle. All vehicles entering our compound needs to have the tires and wheelwells sprayed with disinfectants. I have also put up a hand washing sink near the gate.

I also regularly go to groceries to buy my needs, go to hardware stores like wilcon, go to restaurants to takeout food.

I will soon have a construction project at my house. I will be building a covered garage and plan to start construction middle of June. Walang wala ng pera mga construction workers as per my contractor. Hindi sila maka avail ng SBWS since alam naman ng lahat pag small time construction workers lang, hindi naman nagbabayad ng SSS and wala din silang TIN. So all the more na dapat kong ituloy ang project.

We really need to keep our economy going for everyone to benefit. Not everybody can afford to stay at home any longer.
