Welcome to the thread sir jom318!!!

If im not mistaken, the chip would be placed inside your computer box in order to produce the additional hp but if the casa would discover this, definitely you'll lose your warranty.

There were several discussions in this thread regarding the pros and cons of a chip upgrade, but most of us here were discouraged to install one. The consequences far more outweigh the pros...

Another thing... a tsikoteer posted that he installed one but felt no difference at all... too bad...

Anyway, after getting your strada, we invite you to join The Strada Club of the Philippines in order for you to gain more knowledge regarding your ride and to know the people who share with you their love for their stradas.
Thank you sir. I guess I must finally throw away the race bug in me for good And judging from the figures in the brochure and website I think 136hp is more than enough to propel this beauty. I'd rather just change tires because the 2.5 comes with just 185s. Thank you for the invitation.

185? sir, were you referring to the size of the tires? 205/80/R16 po ata. Don't know about the 2.5 GLX '08 models, but mine came with those.

Anyway, hope to see you at the funrun sir!

nagdown payment na ako sa miggyboy for my top-up lid (yun ang tawag nila sa sportlid), install nila this week. confirmed na since manual siya (wala motor unlike those installed by carryboy) di mavo-void warranty kasi wala drilling sa body... bubutasin lang for the frame yung bed liner. hay, dami gastos! wawa naman mga clients ko! hahahahaha
    magkano yun downpayment?

205 po sya sir. you can also check out the specs of the strada at the mitsu website www.mitsubishi-motors.com.ph or ask for a brochure from your dealer. A lot of the BOSBs here use the GLX 4x2 so u will not be alone when i will have issues with your truck as they speak of ownership experience.

A warm welcome to you! Looking forward to see you soon.

Medyo mas maingay kaysa Bosch mini fanfare EC9 w/c I installed on my Innova. Di gaano masakit sa tenga ang Bosch. Try ko Stebel on my Strada.

Oo nga, sulit at malakas talaga. I had those on my previous Lancer GLXi. Muntik na akong mapaaway sa lasing after ko businahan. Natanggal yata amats. Hinampas ang hood ko tapos tuloy lakad na pagewang-gewang.

I think another BOSB who can answer your question is wakeboarder- since he hauled a boad and his heavy artillery. i asked him about that once re the heaviest piece of equipment he carried and he replied. naduduling ako sa backread and my firewall is still acting up. Look for all posts from him.

i did sit down on the tailgate and i weight (ahem) 210lbs and it handled it with out and stress sign/overstretching of the metal. i tried looking for that at the owners manual... wala so far. IMO, it should be able to handle MORE than 400lbs- the payload of the New Outlander's lower tailgate.

mga BOSB's, saan pa kaya makakakuha ng spare tire lock aside from carryboy? ideas how much?

i also asked carryboy about the roller cover a few months ago and they said hindi daw nila dadlhin dito, tinatanong ko nga kung bakit pero ayaw naman nila sabihin sa akin..

    Sir thepatriarch, you have pm.

sir ericsiomai, the heaviest i have loaded on my bed was roughly 2 tons, arond 2000kg, tingala nga lang yung saskyan ko ang hutok na hutok mga molye, but otherwise kayangkaya niya. as for the tailgate, do remember that it's just held by 2 hinges and 5mm steel cables on the sides, it could handle roughly 3/4 tons, around 750kg, but i wouldnt really try to max it out for safety reasons.

i'm planning on towing 2 jetskis but hindi ko pa alam kung papano ko ikakabit ang tow ball and hinges kasi i got it before for my old pathfinder... since pick up naman sila pareho and molye ang rear suspension i bet kasya naman siguro. but in any case, sir arvin and wakeboarder, what are your equipments of choice for the towing? and...
to everyone out there, any suggestions on how i can strengthen the support of my tailgate? apat kami nakaupo dun and we are roughly about 200lbs each and napansin ko na mejo stressed na nga siya. how can i strengthen this?
    salamat po!

maybe, but that only deals with the wiring, hahanapan ka nila ng butas if something happen, but I know better how to preserve my own things , install in personally and make sure everything is in capacity, u know what umaasa lang cla sa mga workers nila which is a trainee, once pinagawa ko sa kanila yun malfunction ng door actuator sa driver side, nasira pa nila yun door lock na plastic, kaya nireklamo ko sa mitsu. then nag install cla tpms, nag loose naman.bara bara, palibasa d nila personal. pero sabi ng kasa tungkol sa turbo timer na ininstall void daw no matter where, by then if ur not installing turbo timer, masira turbo mo after warranty. mahal ang turbo. naka tie up ang winterpine sa original accesories na kasama sa car but beyond that la din cla pananagutan.
