guys, tanong ko lang.. saan kaya pwede magpakabit ng dvd with monitor 4 strada GLx? gusto ko lagyan yung space sa middle.. if ever i install one do i need 2 remove na hu?

tska i have one concern.. hindi one click yung start ng strada namin.. 2x bago mag start.. meron bang indicator ng heater plug before ko i-start?

Tinanong ko rin po yan doc sa isang crew ng carryboy nung kinakabit yung sport lid ko. Sabi nila possible naman daw pero they don't recommend it. In my opinion and by the looks of it, mahirap alisin and ibalik. And kung desperate talaga at kailangan alisin, hindi kaya ng isang tao lang. I guess it's not really intended for very tall cargo. Pero ang isa sa maganda dito, pag nagsakay ka ng tao sa likod, atleast may bubong na. hehe! hindi mainit.


Im not sure lang po if the top-up of miggyboy is detachable. Maybe J i g s can share about that. Best option i think if medyo mapapadalas ang pagkarga nyo ng matatangkad na cargo is to get the roller-up by goldcars. I think nakita nyo rin po on the last two EBs, medyo pulido naman yung gawa nung kila mehealator and wakeboarder. But the product is yet to be proven for water leakage.

I'm torn apart here... I like the motorized sport lid- this will work best for the GL/GLX 4x2- why? kasi they don't have the power rear window which means there is no need to access the back due to the fixed glass at the same having a fixed shape of the bed cover seals the bed. but for 4x4 GLS/GLS Sport owners who have it, what will they access at the back if the sport lid is there? the sport lid does not have any rack or rail for the luggage so your hand will reach for the sport lid when u really want to get something at the back.

while i was at the 3rd EB, i was inspecting the motorized lids of pauland and the TT guru. the construction is complex- so unscrewing the lid in and out on a frequent basis will mean components getting loose. its not like a clamp that u can twist or something that you can release with a simple hand tool then remove and return. you need perhaps your pliers, screwdrivers with your sons to help you lift it up once detached.

i'm also looking forward to the roller type bed cover. but my concern is the durability, strength and being waterproof.

so as of now, i imagine my future strada to have the canopy instead if it is a 4x4.

try checking your battery. if its the GS brand, have it replaced with motolite. this should be free of charge.

regarding all in one 2din unit, madami sa banawe. you just have to shop around and ask yourself what exactly do you want...branded or not.

sa casa, avt ang brand, monitor would be sa taas and player would be sa baba...the accessory shop priced it at P23K but no tv tuner. so what i did, i just wanted a unit that wasn't pricey, so mine cost P19500 if i remember it correctly with back up camera and antenna. my unit is taiwan made, fidelity ang brand, 6.5" lang ang lcd w/bluetooth, tv tuner, dvd, mp3, etc.. you can also check tsikot, meron nag bebenta din, but you have to have it installed somewhere else.

aside from me, si boybit also have one.but he retained his hu while installing 2din as well.

btw, meron heater plug sa instrument panel natin..wait for the light to go off and then start. it also good to read your owner's manual for proper starting.

Mga BOSB ask ko lang may nakka experience ba rito ng hard start sa strada? mine usually one click lang pero i had a hard start twice na since ng binili ko ito last january. First was were we were in baguio last panagbengga(cguro nalamigan?) second was today, last ko ginamet was wednesday pa. kanina naka 20 redondo yata ako bago nag start, tinawagan ko ung chief mechanic ng casa sabe painitin ko lang daw then start chakka ko dalin casa pero ayaw pa ren so nag experiment ako, start sabay tapak acccelerator para lamg mag start (though i know hindi dapat ganun) so diniretcho ko na sa casa kanina, sabe naman ng chief mecganinc wala naman daw sila makita problema pero they havent check pa ung heater pump kase kailangan daw nila ung sasakyan na malamig, si advice nila is iwan ko muna sa casa for a couple of days. pero ince naman na umistart na ung strada ko, alwways one click lang ung engine and kahet hindi isagad masyado ung pag turn nag iistart na.

So at this time, wala nang problem sa starting, sir glycerine? Sana wag na maulit.

I have installed dvd and HU .Provided ur HU should hve aux input. to tranfer the sound of the dvd to ur speaker system if u want both of them, to be functional. I hve change my HU to pioneer 7950, coz this unit hve a built in crossover to control the subs and separates, and its look good bec of its graphics, spectrum analyzer, att function and many feaTURES

advantage of having 2 HU is that 1. u can prolong the life of the dvd player since u hve two options to play mp3 as well as fm/am tuner. 2. the car Hu hve better sound quality than a 2 din all in one system, it is louder clearer and it is enhance for listening. 3. 2 din monitor distract me when driving at night because a large bright screen facing u despite that it has soft option. 4. tv tuners on car are not stable and the reception is bad when moving. when the reception is weak the pictures distort and the sound is muted. w/ 2 HU i hve the option of setting the car stereo to AM channel 630khz for the audio during the simultaneous broadcast of tv patrol to prevent interupted and muted news report due to the poor reception of the tv while moving.

Hi guys. I'm planning to buy a GLX this coming month. I know I know GLS is better pero yun lang kaya ng budget e...

Anyways, I'd like to ask sana your opinions. Kase I was talking to a dealer about installing the MID (Multi Information Display) from the GLS dun sa GLX unit na kukunin ko. I'd like to ask lang if anybody here already did it. I'd like to ask the details sana like magkano yung MID unit, Installation price, is it possible to place it sa GLX, will it void my warranty, etc.

Appreciate the help! I hope I can join the next EB.

You start after the engine check indicator light disappears and not after the glow plug indicator disappears.

Mine is GS brand, 16 mos already, but so far no start-up issues.

yeah... unless motorized sport lid is useful parin as long as it is fully lifted for a 4x4 mode GLS/GLS Sportl. or to simply show our silly grin! hehehe

to the BOSBs- QUESTION: yung sa motorized lid- have u ever driven your trucks with the lid fully lifted? im concerned about more rattles if the lid is up making it more prone to being shaken up! or is it strong enough to take the vibration as well as the wind and drag resistance?

buying a Strada GLX 4x2 with the motorized lid is practical than purchasing those diesel powered sedans- like say the Hyundai Elantra 1.6 CRDi at 995K, if u have the canopy japanese seats on your option, it will be the best substitute for the absence of the Mitsubishi Fuzion CRDi (tagal kasi ng MMPC eh)

i will continue to study pauland/ttguru moxxxs' sport lid once i see it myself
