    dont know abt winterpine but miggyboy have 2 options for fortuner auto matic and manual turbo timer, all fit in the dash. difference bet auto & manual, is the allotmnt of time, for auto the board box auto select the duration of the timer base on the engine temp., but for manual it is in ur choice to set duration from 1 to 9 min., auto have .5 min interval and can be set manually, too bad they dont hve this for stradas. If u set it to 1 min, it stays on 1 min everytime u start and shut of the engine unless you reset it to 0 min.

    boybit: ah tlga..ganun pla yun..i was informed differently...for manual..its just a timer and you have turn it off pa...automatic was explained to me that onced set to specific timer (minute) just turn off and close the car and arm the alarm.thats it. thanks for the clarification.
    well timer is suppose to be changing of state between on & off , or off & on.for most of the mechanical and electrical eqpmnt regardless of manual or auto. it will change the state. the question is who will calculate the time. "manually" u calculate the time base on ur understanding for its purpose. "automatically engine" gives the data for the timer to calculate the time, besides i asked leira abt this as they offered me the timer to be auto but its not, i think thay havent seen the auto yet.

    pag nag palit ka na ng alteast 245/70 r 16 mahihirapan na yan. btw my next project is to make the ride more stable. I'm planning to put in stabilizer bar on the rear suspension to minimized the sway of the truck on un even surface. since i hve a canopy it tends to sway harder than w/o. coz the back of the truck is heavier and tall. I hve already change the shocks to old man emu. the ride nawala yun tagtag but mas malikot kasi malambot yun shocks thats where the stabilizer comes. pre inform me nalang kung kailan makakarating yun map light. pahahanap narin me sa thailand nxtweek ng ibang accesories

    salamat po!
    hi ericsiomai, check in ride banawe for the hitch receiver. i doubt if your pathfinder receiver will fit in the strada since it probably has a different mount. if you modify your old hitch to adapt to the strada, it might compromise the safety of your vehicle and your tow.

    ganun pala sa casa, mga trainees pala..kala ko talagang mga trained yung mga tao nila..sirugo yung mga head lang..
    oo nga mas mahal turbo kesa sa timer,hehe pa install na ako after my 1000k m check..thanks sir

    got my new motolite gold maintenance free battery from the casa. when i inquired kung how much ang difference ng synthetic and mineral oil, the service advisor told me that they have a new circular recommending synthetic oil for 'high-end' crdi motors with turbo intercooler. how true is this?

    for the 5k pms here is the supposed breakdown:

    PhP 4,080 = 8 liters of synthetic oil
    995 = oil filter
    223 = OWS (what is this?)
    63 = Varsol (again what is this?)
    8 = rags
    ------------
    PhP 5,369 ++ Total

    Need clarification BOSBs....

    sir if i remember correctly, the varsol is various solutions, in short mga panglinis kuno ng dumi nila sa sasakyan at makina(or tubig? hehehehe) the OWS, yan ang hindi ko naitatanong, i'll ask tom when i call the service manager, need to ask sme stuff anyway.. as for the memo regarding the use of synth on CRDI engines, last year pa yan sir, mga june o july pa pinaikot daw ng mitsubishi sa lahat ng dealers nila

    Thanks sir arvin! ambigat pala sa bulsa, then kasama pala dun sa memo na every 5K din ang palit ng synthetic oil sa engine natin instead of every 10K, nasabi din ba sa iyo yun?

    yupyup, but at least you change filters after 2 change oils!!! doesn't make a lot of sense, but that's how i've been doing it.... yun kasi sabi sa akin ng service manager ng diamond motors....

    mga sir, found this site regarding tires...http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT-Tires/
    check it out if you have a particular tire in mind and see it's ratings and comments from users.

    sir, yung standard change oil procedure would require you to change oil and filters every 5K kms, pero and sabi nila since i was using the fully synth oil, just change oil every 5K and the filter every 10K, this actually goes against everything i know regarding engine maintenance pero yung ang sabi nila na sabi daw ng mitsubishi.... really weird when some oils brands would make it the other way around, every 5K ang filter and 10K ang oil

    ganito yun bro... gusto ko kasi maintenance free battery kasi tamad ako magcheck and hassle magtop-up nung GS... and sanay na ako sa quality nang motolite... kaya when i bought my unit, i demanded na dapat maintenance free ilagay nila na designed for philippine roads (syempre motolite ang nasa isip ko, hehehe)... pumayag naman sila. pero ngayon lang ako nagka-time pumunta ulit kasi out of stock ang motolite sa casa nung 1k pms ko... actually if you want, you can ask your dealer to change your battery to motolite... pauland also changed his battery free of charge sa diamond motors marcos hiway
