Hi JJCE, turbo timers will work fine with all variants of the Strada.

What was meant by sir Boz as relayed by Winterpine, I suppose, is the alarm system module that they install for mitsubishi vehicles which includes among others, the turbo timer and the autostart, was already discontinued for manual transmission vehicles.

Autostart is not recommended for manual transmission because of the habit of many drivers to leave their tranny engaged in the gears instead of placing them in neutral when they park their vehicles. This creates a problem when one is equipped with autostart and the manual transmission is engaged. Accidents can happen in this situation.

Sa automatic transmission, this will not happen because the car will not start when the transmission is engaged other than on Park.

Doc Boz, if its turbo timer you need, you can try either miggyboy (manual turbo timer for P2,500) in caloocan or Leira Gney Enterprise (automatic turbo timer for P2,900) in banawe(?). Nahalungkat ko itong info sa files ko, hehe.

super lakas nga ng 4m41 but unlike the pajero's 4d56, the new commonrail technology gives more "ooompf"!!!!
hahaha pinapang race namin ng mga barkada ko ang strada and surprisingly, at halted start, i beat a '96 corolla, a 2003 rav4, pajero fieldmaster, a fortuner and even a jazz 1.3 hahahahaha kaya nga tuwang tuwa ako! ibang iba ang engine response sa 4d56 ng pajero and earlier stradas. kahit ako nagulat. yun nga lang....naiiwanan pa ako minsan ng 2003 na pajero at rolling ang of course, 4m41.....
the strada is a very powerful truck na pwede pang all around. masyado marami pa ang kelangan gawin para makapag sabay sa mga land cruiser paakyat ng pinatubo but all in all, it's great for city driving, pang out of town (twice every month), highway, pang tow ng jetski or boat, pang buhat ng mga bagay, pandagdag ng pogi points, pang tipid sa fuel and best of all, it's fun to drive...hindi siya boring truck lang!
so if hanap mo yung whole 4x4 package na luxury and sports combined but matipid sa gas 4d56 nga talaga but if hindi naman hassle sa inyo ang 3.2 edi get the best of them all available! hahaha

sir boybit.. try niyo boston pro.. da best.. nde ka magsisi.. with hu nman try niyo yung pioneer 5900dvd.. maglaway makakita nun sa ride mo.. with my ride puro laway na nga.. hahaha

sir omega, yun pioneer dvd ok lang yun tunog but re garding sa sound quality vs. hi end pioneer stereo mp3 unit masmaganda parin ang tunog ng 7950ub, built in crossover kaya la nako cross over na seperate at maraming band of equalizer. besides daLAwa ang head unit ko, pioneer 7950 for audio control, 2 din dvd tv, mp3 naman sa monitor ko touch screen though taiwan lang. subwoofer sony yun lang kasya, yun jl ko d kasya kaya nakatabi muna for next car, jbl amp,infinity seperates. k na to maganda na para sakin yun sound

my dad is planning to get 2 stradas. one it will be rented by a company with a big amount of cash every month. hehehe and the other for us. yes, its possible to replace our pajero. but its not that sure. ask ko lang. ok ba ang suspension ng strada? di ba matagtag? how bout FC? ok ba ang ride quality?

the ride quality is a way better against any pickup truck and w/ fortuner. but with pajero,patrol and even everest their suspension are more comfortable especially w/ pajero. fc is better than standard diesel engine and average among crdi engine

Just had my 5000 km PMS. Naka-fully synthetic na ako (Motul) that I got from boybit. 9 liters of synthetic oil was used for my 3.2 GLS. First difference noticeable is the more silent engine. I don't know if it's just me but mukhang mas malakas ang hatak ngayon. Just sharing

though oil comes from me, d ko panasusubukan yan motul. inubos ko muna turbo xp ko, naparami kasi bili ko nung first changeoil ko, kaya 15k ko pamatry. kaya pako makabigay comment re xp or motul

nabasa ko nga sa isang review na para daw sedan kasi comfortable talaga. pambihira yung sa ng mitsu ah. sabi nya fc daw ng 4m41 approx 15km/l highway. sa city mga 9-10km/l. eh sa 4d56 pala yun pero gusto ko parin ang 4m41 kasi mas malakas yun tumakbo kesa 4d56. 4d56 ang pajero namin ngayon, ang bagal. suzuki carry na na lampasan kami.

sabi din nung ahente namin dati na ganun ang FC nya pero hndi naman..oo sir ibang iba sa hatak ng pajero na 4d56..ma tutuwa ka ng sobra pag namaneho mo strada hehe

may mga coplains about sa suspension nya na hndi pantay, ilan din kami dito na naka tabinge yung ride..mas mataas yung sa kaliwa kesa sa kanan..

Sa mga strada owners, kung napapansin nyo na hindi pantay ang strada nyo, dalhin nyo sa mitsu service center and they will fix it free of charge.

The difference in height of the left and right apex of the fenders should not be more than 1 cm., based on my recall from previous posts.

i agree with the pajero hatak compared to the strada, pinsan namin may 96 4d56 pajero and sometimes i drive it, ramdam mo talaga ang effort ng engine just to get to a decent high speed, though crisp and pino ang tunog( one thing 4d56 is lovely about), unlike the strada the pajero has bigger and heavier body, and poor aerodynamics. but overall 4d56 is just good enough for it. di naman pang karera ang pajero pang joyride lang.

there's a blinged out strada at WTC auto show..with 20 or 22 inch rims and it looks sooh cool. Does mitsu allow this change without voiding the warranty of the truck? kinda pointless to show off those large rim posibilities when in the end they'll tell you it'll void your warranty?

a month ago i saw a black strada with 22 chrome wheels parked along del monte ave. in Q.C. Very Very Nice!
