jusy want to ask strada owners here if they have installed a turbo timer in their stradas, the 2.5 and the 3,2diesel turbo engines?? i saw one in the net, selling it at 3k with installation, for strada. the nice thing is that it will fit in the OEM slots in the dash. any feedback will be highly appreciated her's the ink...http://cisco88.multiply.com/photos/a...ies_FOR_SALE#1

some of the guys here installed a turbo timer in their stradas... if im not mistaken, 2K lang yata sa miggyboy with installation na rin. helpful ang turbo timer if you are rushing constantly, hataw sa drive then you have to leave/park your car in a hurry. in my case, di na ako nagpa-install so i make it a point na kung malapit na ako sa destination ko, pitik-pitik na lang sa accelerator then park slowly na lang to cool the turbo... human turbo timer ang sistema, hehehe

kendrick, c dennis to schoolmatr mo sa highschool, nag install ako ng turbo timer sa strada, ok naman manual nga lang. u hve to set time for it from 1 to 9 min, mas ok na manual, coz some times d mo na kailangan ng timer kasi mas yado naman matrafic sa mla.

i had this installed in Banawe. P2900. It's automatic type, you can set how many minutes you want the car to stay on before finally shutting itself off. The delay is from 1-9 minutes. But if you want it to turn off w/the ignition, just set the timer to "0"

Magnetik, 3.2L M/T sa kin, bought Nov 2007, 4000km odo. Same ang experience ko with sir ooba99. Pero both of you guys have A/T. Usually when I'm on 1st gear, tapos bigla accelerate. Napapansin ko rin kung bigla apak ng clutch to shift to 2nd gear. Kaya ginagawa ko, 2nd gear na lang derecho. Alalay lang. Kaya naman.
This is my first 4WD kaya di ko alam kung normal lang to.

Pardon my very late reply, I just got back home from our family trip.

I bought my unit at Las Pinas Citimotors.

I engaged the 4H when i was going less than 15km/h on D
And when i was stationary, Neutral.
I returned to 2H under the same conditions.

When 4h is engaged, I don't hear the thugging sound. But it's rarely on 4h.
That's the next thing I'll look into though.

The hand-brake is disengaged and the indicator (!) on the dashboard is off.

I'll ask about the disc brakes.

When I was away I called the casa everyday for updates.
They tightened the mounts and everything. The sound is still there.
My SA test drove another unit same model ('08 3.2 A/T) he was able to produce the same sound din. I said, keep trying and testing. So he will test other units while waiting for advice from the Planta for the next step. He didn't want to do anything extensive without advice.

So currently I'm left hanging. Pero gagamitin ko muna yung unit ko until mayroon nang sagot from the planta then I'll bring my unit back again if need be. I'm picking it up tommorrow.

I'm a little more relieved now after reading the accounts of other owners. Kasi sa A/T puro kotse lang ang nahahandle ko til now. Yung Innova kasi tsaka yung lumang Pajero, both M/T. Siguro itong thugging sound na ito is more pronounced sa much bigger vehicles.

Pero kukulitin ko pa rin ang dealer ko for definite answers

sir avo8r5 ur turbo timer is the same like mine but it is manual turbo timer. automatic turbo timer has a sensor on the engine temp., it automatically set the duration of the timer base on the heat it reads from the temp. of the turbo ,thus u dont need to set time duration.

wala pa br0..kaka down ko lang nung sat..7-10 working days after d.p bago ka bumalik kasi pipinturahan pa nila yung lid and roll bar..

ewan ko kung perforated yun, sinunod ko lang yung ni recomend ni edward..sana yung perforated leather nga para di din mainit..
