    as per sir thepatriarch, tama si sir tungkol sa price ng mitsu turboXp as compared to the other brands, MAHAL per liter!!!!! am planning on eventually changing to motul when the warranty lapses. i think sir boybit uses otul on his
    actually you dont need to wait for the warranty lapse, coz here in mitsubishi balintawak u have 2 choices, turbo xp, and motul crdi oil, but motul is more expensive. sir arvin if ur running 3000km a month it is more economical to change oil every 10 k or a little less around 8k(5k miles). coz I think u travel a lot and far. u seldom start and go and caught in traffic jam like most of us. ur oil is healthier than most of the oil driving in traffic and the city.specially those who stop and go bec. of several meeting during most of the day.

    sir arvin, during the pre heat period u r not warming the fuel, u r warming the air inside the chamber. diesel will only be introduce to the chamber when the piston is almost on top dead center, not the same as gas engine which the fuel mixture is introduce during intake process

    for the 5k pms here is the supposed breakdown:

    PhP 4,080 = 8 liters of synthetic oil
    995 = oil filter
    223 = OWS (what is this?)
    63 = Varsol (again what is this?)
    8 = rags
    ------------
    PhP 5,369 ++ Total

    Need clarification BOSBs....
    note: if ur planning to use fully synthetic oil, go for motul coz of is 5w 40. the thinner the oil the faster it lubricates the engine during cold start w/c is the most critical moment of the engine wear and tear. masmabilis at magaan i pump ang thinner oil. besides mabilis nya rin ma lubricate ang mga smallest tolerance ng mga mechanical parts ng engine. since it is new all tolerance are so tight that even the thinnest strand of hair wont go through. then after several years gamitan mo ng heavier oil to make the engine more silent since lumaki na ang tolerance due to wear. And good engine oil is mabilis dumumi o umitim. coz tinutunaw at tinatangal nila ang mga dirt and sludge due to high detergent additives. In fact it is better to change oil more frequently kaso sobrang taaas ng maintenance pag maaga ka mag palit sa fully synth, even in 10k change oil hinde parin equal sa maintenace cost ng regular oil. actually ang habol mo lang sa fully synthic is the ability of the oil to withstand xtreme heat not only the engine but the also the turbo. turbo ang pinaka maselan sa lahat ng part ng diesel engine. dahil bumabaga yan sa init , lalo na sa high reving at long drive direct from the exhaust manifold. kaya important yun turbo timer. para maiWASAn ang sudden cut ng oil supply sa turbo when u shut down the engine while the turbo is in exteme temp. susunugin nya lang yun oil na natira sa kanya at mamumuo na parang carbon fleck and masisira yin bearing inside

    Sa mga nagbabalak ng stebel magnum, di na kailangang pakinggan. Maganda ang tunog. Lalo na kung apat. Ano sa tingin mo, ThePatriarch. Dagdagan mo pa yan :evillaugh

    sabi naman sakin na kahit hndi nadaw antayin mawala yung engine check indicator light kasi crdi naman na daw yung engine..pero inaantay ko padin mawala yung light bago ako mag start..

    naku pag aapatin pa yung stebel baka mapaaway din sa lasing pag na businahan hahaha

    Bro, gamit ko 3M super dark sa side and rear windows. sa windshield naman 3M magic black yung parang silver siya pag tinamaan ng araw or street lamps. Ok naman sa night driving ang magic black sa windshield considering my eyes are both 150+ vision (no longer 20/20).

    BOSBs,

    eto quote sa akin ng el dorado for change oil package

    "Good day to you Bro!

    Yes po, the Cubao and Bicutan branches still honor the Change oil package as advertized dito sa thread.

    You will need 6 liters of Synthetic oil (xp turbo) at 450 per liter. If mineral lang, 130 lang per liter ang ating promo price.

    Your oil filter has two variants. ang pang 3000 kilometer lang, 550 lang po, pero ang pang 5000 Kilometer life, 590 po ang promo price. Both filters however, are Genuine Mitsubishi Philippines na product, so no worry, just follow the proper PMS niya.

    Labor po sa either Cubao and Bicutan branch for the change oil is only 150 po for club members.

    Hope to be of service Bro... till then... be safe and keep on riding!"
