i need help....
i read somewhere that the maximum load our truckbed could carry is 1500kg is that true?
i can't find anywhere info about how much load our tailgate could handle.
i sat on it with 2 people about my weight and kaya naman. to anyone who could answer me, totoo ba ang 1500kg na bed load? and how much weight/force can the tailgate handle?

pre naka kuha ka na ng strada, i remember i met u at transport show last year, the first time they introduce strada 4x2. sir avor8 bought it at banawe, agno st. the shop was leira. when u r on quezon ave from welcome rotonda turn right to banawe, first st. on the right is agno st. It depends. but if u want to make sure always set it to 1 min. but ur fc will be affected a bit.

meron ba twinpines ng turbo timer, yung pasok sa slot sa dash, oem look??? qalam ko miggyboy meron panf fortuner and strada, but last i heard, they dont install....pag nakaset po ng 1minute, may pipindotin ka nalang, auto na ba yun, or everytime iseset mo yung time?

sportlid: I want to have a sportlid installed sa strada namin to secure things na dala dala... at pogi points narin... long distance din ang biyahe pero parang hindi ko na naiisip kung nakakasave nga ba ng fuel ung paglagay ng lid...

synthetic: kailangang kailangan to ng sasakyan namin kahit na medyo may kamahalan... lalo na puro long distance... parang 3-4 months ang change oil...

Turbo Timer: It's nice to have one but for the mean time, HUMAN Turbo Timer muna...

meron ba twinpines ng turbo timer, yung pasok sa slot sa dash, oem look??? qalam ko miggyboy meron panf fortuner and strada, but last i heard, they dont install....pag nakaset po ng 1minute, may pipindotin ka nalang, auto na ba yun, or everytime iseset mo yung time?

on my turbo timer, i usually leave it on 1 minute. once set, every time you turn off your vehicles, the timer would start...no need to activate it all the time..as long as it is set for 1-9...automatic yung turbo timer. but once set to "0", turbo timer is off. hope that clarifies it.

boybit: ah tlga..ganun pla yun..i was informed differently...for manual..its just a timer and you have turn it off pa...automatic was explained to me that onced set to specific timer (minute) just turn off and close the car and arm the alarm.thats it. thanks for the clarification.

nagdown payment na ako sa miggyboy for my top-up lid (yun ang tawag nila sa sportlid), install nila this week. confirmed na since manual siya (wala motor unlike those installed by carryboy) di mavo-void warranty kasi wala drilling sa body... bubutasin lang for the frame yung bed liner. hay, dami gastos! wawa naman mga clients ko! hahahahaha

Hi guys and gals! i am one inch close to getting my strada. I would like to quote Silverend from page 88 on this:

the 3.2 strada is not ideal car for everday use like downtown drive, i think its more for towing and long hauling drives. i prefer 2.5, mas tipid and yet di naman underpowered, esp if you put a power chip, that will boost up to 160hp.

Is this really possible? How do you go about this? Is this the same as ECU tuning? I was into racing kasi before and we used to do this sa computer box. Wouldn't this void warranty? Im interested. Pls enlighten. TIA.

Welcome to the thread sir jom318!!!

If im not mistaken, the chip would be placed inside your computer box in order to produce the additional hp but if the casa would discover this, definitely you'll lose your warranty.

There were several discussions in this thread regarding the pros and cons of a chip upgrade, but most of us here were discouraged to install one. The consequences far more outweigh the pros...

Another thing... a tsikoteer posted that he installed one but felt no difference at all... too bad...
