BOSB, Im sure you are all aware about the upcoming GEB of Tsikot.com on 23 February 2008.

I am just interested to know if we could muster enough participants from this thread so that the Strada Club could win the Best Car Club award. For the details of the said award, do check this thread:

Sir moxxxs, if the criterion for winning the Car Club Award is the most number of members attending this EB, I’m sure we can win this by a cinch.

But from my understanding of the posted announcement, it seems like the criterion for this award is the number of members in the club in its roster, regardless whether or not they are present in the EB. Here, we do not have a chance since we are just a beginning car club.

But just the same, winning an award or not, let us make our presence felt, i.e. our Strada Club. Let’s show them our solidarity and how fun-filled people we are. For all you know, they might give us a citation for being ‘the most promising new car club in the land’.

If we can muster 10-15 strada club members to attend the forthcoming GEB, probably sir drey can recommend a citation. I hope sir jedi gets to read this.

Sirs av8or5, moxxxs, thepatriarch, pauland, let's now plan out our First Strada Club Fun Run and blessing of our rides sa Antipolo (or wherever agreeable to most) as previously suggested. From there we can proceed to the Tsikot Auto Fest.

Hmmm... Which car club in tsikot.com has the most number of participants? Sorry sir, I don't know since this is the first recognition for tsikot.com car clubs. But I've know some Innova owners and Avanza owners being able to join the GEB last year.

I believe the Avanza, Innova, Tucson, and Santa Fe Club will be joining us this year's EB.

Just came from winterpine to finally have my keyless system checked. Before, the remote key will not work unless you operate it almost by the window. They found out defective pala yung antenna and had it replaced. Now I can use it from several meters away. In case you also have trouble making your remote work, the same problem could be causing it. Just bring your car warranty booklet with you kasi ito ang basis nila to service it free including the replacement antenna.

*traker - thanks for sharing your problem+solution. your issue reminded me of the weak transmitter i had with my space wagon. for some strange reason, as i nudge it on my CHIN, the stronger signal unlocks the doors and disarms... weird- to think that i don't look like jay leno.
