sir, welcome to the thread. i suggest you read the thread from the beginning. also best to test drive both vehicles.

i chose strada glx due to looks, ride, and bang for the bucks. My previous car was Isuzu, therefore I didnt place the dmax sa list ko. I hate isuzu now.

but in fairness to isuzu, i like the front design of their dmax, but I am scarred for life for isuzu engines (i owned an 2003 4jx1)

hey guys, just wanted to share my experience. I think it was two weeks ago, I had my car serviced back to the dealer where I bought the vehicle. citimotors las pinas. although i live in mandaluyong, I wanted it serviced there because I had to pick up my lto stickers as well. so might as well hit two birds with one stone.

anyhow, i setup an appointment with them 7am. I woke up a little late, so I arrived at 720am. guess what, some of the service advisors was outside the gate because the person who has the keys wasn't there yet. Imagine, the person arrived around 740am, so if I arrived at 7am, it would have been pointless to have set an appointment with them because the person was tardy.

next observation, the service advisor also does the pre-checklist (which i found weird because its usually done by another person/group). He didn't do a good job on doing pre-checklist as I had to tell him some missing affects inside my car for him to list it down.

next observation which pissed me off. I turned on the radio, and guess what, whoever was handling my car was probably listening to music when he/she was fixing my car, because, they changed my cd. I was surprise when I turned on the radio, its a cd that i hardly listen to. tsk tsk tsk.

i'm not sure if i should email them about this, i just hope when they service cars, not to touch anything that is not part of the PMS.

I read previously in this thread that some Strada owners were having problems with sudden loss of power. If I'm not mistaken, when they tried to maintain that habit, the problem was solved. Tama ba? I guess eto yung mga Boholanos...

Allegra, sama ako... Kahit ako na lang photographer... Hehe.

So , it's fuel quality/filth sa fuel nga?
Wala sinabi sakin about maintaining the fuel at 1/4 ng tank , but the advisor made sure I understood wag halos mag empty yung tanke

As what my dealer told me, maintain a full tank as much as possible.
So far so good, I always make it sure that my strada is in full tank.

Just arrived from davao yesterday .....
Driving for about 5hours following a PUJ
My fuel consumption counts was 9.9 km/L
Driving at around 70-90kph maintaining speed

    While driving 120-160kph
    It gives me 12.0 km/L

    any better answer?
