Hi guys. I'm planning to buy a GLX this coming month. I know I know GLS is better pero yun lang kaya ng budget e...

Anyways, I'd like to ask sana your opinions. Kase I was talking to a dealer about installing the MID (Multi Information Display) from the GLS dun sa GLX unit na kukunin ko. I'd like to ask lang if anybody here already did it. I'd like to ask the details sana like magkano yung MID unit, Installation price, is it possible to place it sa GLX, will it void my warranty, etc.

Appreciate the help! I hope I can join the next EB.

ang gamit lang ng MID eh para malaman ung FC... ung average speed... kung ilang kilometers pa pwede takbuhin ng fuel mo, time and date -- eto ung sa tingin ko nakakatulong... ung compass, outside temp dko na napapansin... (pero ung compass nakadisplay din kung minsan --- pacute lang) meron nga feature dapat na nakadisplay ung current radio station mo or title ng mp3 kaso wala dito sa pilipinas... pati din ung nakakadetect ng phone call tapos automatic na humihina ung sound kapag nagpapatugtog ka...

*kenpogi - sir, congrats din on your decision of choosing the strada. The GLX variant is also superb if you don't need the 4x4 feature of the GLS and GLS Sport. Super Value for money pa! I personally own a GLX and am very satisfied with it! Before, i also thought of installing a Multi-info Display. Pero ngayon parang im clinging more on installing a Screen with DVD player. You might want to check out what av8or5 did sa GLX nya. His also has a reverse camera that can be seen on the monitor installed. There are a lot of options actually. Ikot ka muna and isip-isip kung ano mas babagay sa lifestyle mo. Do join us in the up coming EB on March 9 para makita mo mga modifications ng mga naka GLX. Tinanong ko rin po yan doc sa isang crew ng carryboy nung kinakabit yung sport lid ko. Sabi nila possible naman daw pero they don't recommend it. In my opinion and by the looks of it, mahirap alisin and ibalik. And kung desperate talaga at kailangan alisin, hindi kaya ng isang tao lang. I guess it's not really intended for very tall cargo. Pero ang isa sa maganda dito, pag nagsakay ka ng tao sa likod, atleast may bubong na. hehe! hindi mainit.


Im not sure lang po if the top-up of miggyboy is detachable. Maybe J i g s can share about that. Best option i think if medyo mapapadalas ang pagkarga nyo ng matatangkad na cargo is to get the roller-up by goldcars. I think nakita nyo rin po on the last two EBs, medyo pulido naman yung gawa nung kila mehealator and wakeboarder. But the product is yet to be proven for water leakage.

Mga BOSB ask ko lang may nakka experience ba rito ng hard start sa strada? mine usually one click lang pero i had a hard start twice na since ng binili ko ito last january. First was were we were in baguio last panagbengga(cguro nalamigan?) second was today, last ko ginamet was wednesday pa. kanina naka 20 redondo yata ako bago nag start, tinawagan ko ung chief mechanic ng casa sabe painitin ko lang daw then start chakka ko dalin casa pero ayaw pa ren so nag experiment ako, start sabay tapak acccelerator para lamg mag start (though i know hindi dapat ganun) so diniretcho ko na sa casa kanina, sabe naman ng chief mecganinc wala naman daw sila makita problema pero they havent check pa ung heater pump kase kailangan daw nila ung sasakyan na malamig, si advice nila is iwan ko muna sa casa for a couple of days. pero ince naman na umistart na ung strada ko, alwways one click lang ung engine and kahet hindi isagad masyado ung pag turn nag iistart na.

bro, one possible reason may be your stock battery. i've heard a story or two about this issue before. Is your stock battery the GS brand (the white with blue lining)? Hindi daw ata pang pinas yang battery na yan. I heard this also from ThePatriarch. Pinapalitan daw ng motolite yung mga stock batteries. Don't know if may recall ng mga stock batteries pero when i asked my agent, di daw nya alam pa. Actually ako, i had mine replaced with a motolite sa casa just this afternoon. I also had a few hard starts before pero di ko lang pinapansin dahil minor lang naman until nabanggit ni ThePatriarch nung 3rd EB. So i tried to remember kung kelan ko naexperience yung mga yun and reported it to my SA. Di ko lang alam kung may iba pang complications yung sayo dahil you mentioned bandang huli mukang naka 20 na redondo ka na before it started. Hope it is nothing major. Good luck bro! guys, tanong ko lang.. saan kaya pwede magpakabit ng dvd with monitor 4 strada GLx? gusto ko lagyan yung space sa middle.. if ever i install one do i need 2 remove na hu?

tska i have one concern.. hindi one click yung start ng strada namin.. 2x bago mag start.. meron bang indicator ng heater plug before ko i-start?
