Battery died and can't get it to the dealership for replacement. Any other brands I can call to install? From what I've read motolite only sells it through mazda. Wala daw home servicr ang north edsa. Shame.

Inquire with a local Amaron dealer for Amaron Hi Life DURO 90D23L/Q85 EFB. As per Amaron Battery Philippines FB page, this is their start/stop EFBattery. Price is 11,800 but may vary per dealer. They also provide home service (deliver and install).

I can't recall precisely all the benefits AAP's International Driving Permit came w/ but it sure covered towing w/in a set radius for 1 enlisted car.

Also considering getting a jumpstart battery. Tried jumpstarting kahapon positive positive negative ground connection ayaw na mag charge.

Puwede na kaya ako mag positive positive negative negative connection? Hindi kaya ma-damage yung i-stop sensor?

Nexxus Towing uses a small tow truck to move out cars from basement parkings. I availed their services to tow a sedan from a basement parking at BGC a year ago.

I think i found the culprit. Rusted positive terminal naputol siya. Sinabi ko pa sa last PMS na i double check yun kasi ang lala ng buildup eh.

Amaron is on the way might have to cancel mukhang okay pa yung batt eh. Oh well.

This review on the Mazda3 Speed also reported corrosion at the batt area due to acid leaks.

Hit or miss, doc. If iStop refuses to work after batt swap, then, relearning is needed. To avoid this, there are many different types of memory savers out there you can use during batt swaps. Here's 1:

How old is your car's current batt? If it is more than 1.5 yrs it might be a good idea to keep the amaron batt as an emergency replacement. Just regularly charge the new batt to prevent it from deteriorating. If you have a ctek start/stop charger you can use that to maintain the ctek batt.

Cancelled the order for the meantime pero I'll have the Amaron on speed dial. Might get the ctek next will see how much more I can extend the battery life.

Meanwhile, the car is scheduled for towing tomorrow. Sana may piyesa sa casa para mabilis lang.
