    Noises & vibrations.
Bad tranny mounts can cause engine vibrations at various rev ranges & clunk under load.
A faulty rack will have noises & steering play on bumps, rough patches. Often, it can have similar symptoms as bad end links, bushes, rod ends, strut mounts & ball joints. It's not a known common fault on 3s, but lemons do get mixed in bushels of oranges sometimes.[emoji4]

i just replicated the sound during our testdrive. and they came up with the solution.

at first, the rattling happens when i accelerate hard uphill..very hard to replicate. waited couple of months and the sound became more noticeable even without inclination..thats when i decided to bring it in again.

My primary option for the tire is Michelin Pilot Sport 4, most likely just the R16 size, then shop around for a Rota rim. The R16 size for this tire brand model is limited to 205/50 and 205/55 only.

The R17 like those from the pics you shared appeals to me more but I'm concerned with those thin side walls. Pot holes are so unforgiving here around Metro Manila especially when traveling south to Bicol. I think the R16 will give be a safer choice. What do you think sir?

As I've shared you, those 17s(110.25mm sidewall) pic'd have 13.5mm taller sidewall than the 18s(96.75mm) you have.
205/55/16 is 19mm smaller in outer diameter vs. stock 18s. Negligible, but you'll be 9.5mm closer to the ground & speedo may run a bit off.

While driving from casa after PMS, suddenly the check engine and traction control lights turned on (solid orange). Also, I felt that the engine is struggling, seems the AT does not upshift/downshift so I tried manual mode but it only showed M and no gear. So I went back to the dealership and they said it's because of the low voltage of my dying battery. Yes it is true that my batt is dying. No time to wait for the car's release so I left it at casa then will be back tomorrow for the details. What do you guys think of what happened?

Mazda Diagnostics is pretty straight forward. Start where the program red flags. The complex electronics in today's cars do breed gremlins. A faulty batt to them is like full moon to werewolves, sir. Limp mode & all those lights may pop beyond logic.

I just hope the new Mazda3 that will be released here will not have the cylinder deactivation and start/stop system.

Sir Travajante is probably getting excited already on releasing the no-drill plate relocator for the new Mazda3 [emoji4]

Napadaan ako sa CASA ng Mazda dito sa China yesterday, they're giving big discounts on their 3's, nasa 100k-150k yung discount, maybe pinapaubos na nila yung stock, but when I asked the SA when will they start selling new Mazda 3, sabi baka next year pa.

The CX-3 and the 2.0L variant of the CX-5 are no longer listed at Mazda PH site as well:

Looks like they're going to sell the CX-30 along with the new Mazda3!

Tested the HKS Hi-Power Spec-L bolt-on axleback for a while. Too loud & the drone was unbearable.[emoji852] RacingBeat still can't be beat! Good thing this wasn't irreversible.[emoji106]

Borla has this BM/BN specific axleback below. The drawback? Too many clamped joints. Alignment has been a known issue.
