When all the components driven are in proper working order, belts should last long. Resistance from a faulty bearing or improper tension can cause premature wear.
Please note that Skyactivs have 2 belts. The main serpentine is tensioned by the damper assembly, the aux 1 has no tensioner. It's a Stretch-Fit belt. Have both checked, doc.

Will probably have another casa visit since my battery is also due for replacement. Would anyone know just how much it may cost for the replacement of the belts?

Talk to Service, doc. If a belt is found prematurely worn, there's a cause behind. Warranty should kick in.

To rule out the waterpump, have them remove the StretchFit belt that drives it the day before. Cold start briefly the morning after. If squeal is still there, you're down to the main drive belt, AC or alternator, doc.

[emoji29][emoji29][emoji29]definitely will hear the “sir gawan lang muna natin ng technical report then wait natin reply ni planta” . Come days, weeks and months no advise.. might just sell my M3 once this issue is fixed. Going back every now and then to the casa is such a pain. This must be the worst experience that I had owning a car. List of problems that I had were the engine support front (fixed), side mirrors (fixed), tensioner (fixed), squeals (current issue).
Too bad, am really enjoying driving this car but the problems that Im having is just destroying that experience.

With the car’s age (19 months). Can this still be filed for the lemon law?

Nope. Lemon law says needs the same problem to be reported and prove unfixable 3-4 times within the first year.

You are now at the mercy of the dealerships and the local corporate hq

Can the car be driven without that belt? The squeal, at times, isnt present when the car is sedentary. Was able to elicit the sedentary squeal since our garage has an incline. The service advisor is almost always scratching his head since they cant elicit it at the casa.m and they just rely on my videos. if only they can be brought to our house for them to witness and check my car...

Depending on the belt, I'm GUESSING you either

    a. Risk big damage just by starting the car
    b. Risk big damage by starting the belt driven system
    c. Affected system just won't work

I'm inclined to believe a and b more than c.

You might want to request that and see what they'll offer next. I just hope you're not too far from them. You can try talking to their service manager, instead to the usual guy who's in charge.

19 months and with all these issues, seems to me that there were quality lapses on Mazda's part. I used to drive the clunky Ford Fiesta with the dual clutch transmission issue. The major issue I had with that car was the transmission module failure which happened only before the car warranty period expired (3 years). After which another issue happened, a bearing noise from the water pump. At first we thought the noise was coming from the drive belt but fortunately Ford's mechanic was spot on identifying the culprit on day 1 at casa.

Have you tried raising these quality issues with Mazda head office (Berjaya)? Perhaps they can do something about these quality issues.

Would have the worn front engine support contributed to this current predicament? Initially it was the tok sound that was my first issue. They replaced some boots on the suspension. With no resolution of the tok sound, they saw that the cause was a worn engine support. Around the time it took to get an approval from the planta( which took 4 mos as well) the squeal sounds started. With the mount replaced, the squeals persisted.

Is there a way of doing that?

Not necessarily ... Some squeal on startup ... Just telling you to have it checked or listen to the engine with the hood open while someone starts it ...

Best to sell the car and get a Honda or Toyota ... Better quality ...

Which front engine support was replaced? Was it the one near the drive belt area? If it is then that could be the reason.
