Ako I have a Jump and Carry battery booster at home. Larch aging na ang battery, I'll be keeping it na palagi sa car.

I have one but it won't work in my case. Putol talaga yung positive battery connector.

If it were the radiator fan sir wouldnt that be squealing all throughout the drive? Mine sir really occurs at certain cold starts and persists only around 5-10 mins after that cold start. All through my journey, no squeals... i think this will be hit or a miss kind of diagnosing from the casa. Hearing the service advisor say “ sir mahaba pa naman warranty mo, mga 1 1/2 years pa. Mahuhuli’t maayos natin yan” ain’t reassuring...

Is this consistent? I mean, every morning that you start and you'll hear it? In that case, you can try to leave the car in casa and then check it as soon as they open.

I know this is inconvenient but if others have some suggestions...

Sometimes the squeals can be heard with just the simple cold start. Sometimes the car has to be in motion after the cold start, usually when hard braking or declines, when the squeals can be heard. Damn irritating. Tensioner has been replaced btw.

They double checked. They said everything was good.. theyre suspecting the magnetic clutch of the a/c compressor, however the squeals are still present even when the a/c is off.

I know how does it feel... I remember our CR-V 98 and there was this clanking sounds whenever I turn. I looked everything, over and under! Not until I decided to dismantle the back seats that I found the ratchet left by the audio technician.

If you can spare some time, and if there will be no other suggestions, then you can try leaving it overnight in casa and then start it early in the morning. Then drive around with them as passengers so that they may observe it.

In my case with the CR-V 98, there was that wiggling and vibration and will occur after a few hours of driving. I insisted that someone accompany me from Guiguinto to Dau. And there just the exit at Dau, it started vibrating. They later found out the problem and replaced the bearings.

Anyone know how to embed a video here? Finally got a video with the bonnet up. And definitely, the sound emanates from the fan belt area.

Tensioner/idler puller are new, those are ruled out. Check belt condition, or change it. The leaky tensioner might've caused it some premature wear. If that checks out, move to AC & Alternator bearings. The alternator can squeal & would usually hum w/ worn or faulty bearings. Then, there's the waterpump which I doubt will go this early.

Around when should belts be replaced. Could i insist to just pay for the fan belt replacement since it takes them a long time to get an approval from the plant? Am worried that the longer I wait for that approval, the belt might give prematurely.
