This has to be a joke, right? It's the 2nd gen and like what the other poster said, with an inverted 2nd gen grille.

Just kidding, guys....I know it's way past April Fools. My bad... Mazda just confirmed the gen3 won't get a Speed variant. They'll focus on the development of 2nd generation SkyActiv engines & the Sky Rotary.

This all depends on what you're after. Mimic 2.0s w/ stock 18s or go for something lighter w/ aftermarket. Stay max of 8.5"wide & et45 up. Reduced unsprung weight will give you more felt power.....& you're not just limited to 18s....the 3 looks great on 19s & a mild drop. Proof below...agree?

Check page346 & share us your plans, dinJ sir.

The Sky Rotary is 1 thing but the SKYACTIV II will push combustion engine boundaries. Lean diesel-like combustion coming....

Mazda’s second-generation SKYACTIV-G petrol engines could emerge very soon with compression ratios as high as 18.0:1.....Our current PH spec'd 3s are at 13.0:1, Europe & Japan 14.0:1.

What’s more, the heavily reworked four-cylinder engines will employ diesel technology — including a combustion process ignited not by a sparkplug but compression — to reduce fuel consumption by a further 30 per cent. You heard it right...NO SPARKPLUGs....

Mazda shocked industry observers when its first-generation SKYACTIV-G petrol four emerged in late 2010 with a compression ratio of 14.0:1, matching many diesel and motorcycle engines and setting a new benchmark for a mass-produced petrol engine.

Development of Sky II & Sky R may be the reasons why they're shelving the Speed 3&6 plans for now.

Is it gonna be stick? Or auto? Current market demand shows 20% stick, 80% auto.

it's probably because you're still young and strong.
give it a few more years, sir, and your decision to go auto will be more attractive.
    heh heh heh.

errr... will they market the mazda model of your choice, in MT form here, po?

not really young, doc, but still strong though ;)
i really lean towards the auto, but the more i watch videos on YouTube the stick is getting more appealing.

Youth, strength may not be as big a factor as say traffic or usage.
Short but eternal trips are punishing....I now require the daily to be an auto. Sticks can see weekends.
But the M the good atty is looking at is best stick. The MX5 ND is an instant modern classic & a sure collectible...sticks are more durable, easier to rebuild.....& more fun in the wide open.
Again, Mazda PH projections have matched local demand. The good atty might be among those 2 of ten who choose stick. Me? I'd like to be on the his side, but that car is way too tempting to only see weekends. I'm weak against temptations.

    Good afternoon!

What brand of car cover do you recommend for a Mazda 3 1.5V Hatchback.

    Thanks!

Louie tried something like this on his car a year ago. Medyo mahal (mga almost 20k) and medyo tedious gamitin. Try asking him kung may progress na.

Pwede mong i-mute. Pwede rin i-off ang screen sa Settings menu. Ginagawa ko yan kadalasan pag traffic sa gabi para dumilim lalo ang interior.

Yep you need to press the dial to make a call. Mas ok para sa akin yan so you can't make accidental calls dahil tinamaan ang steering wheel button.

Bili ka na lang ng sun shade para sa windshield. Protection na rin 'to para sa dashboard and steering wheel

Hello Sirs, I need an advice. I plan on getting a Mazda3 2.0 hatchback soon. However, I read somewhere that the Mazda3 will be getting a refreshed model later this year. Can anyone confirm this? Should I get the existing model now or should I hold off for the rumured 2017 refreshed version?

    TIA.
