Which m3 color from QA, sir? I was supposed to get from them but apparently they had issue sa unit stocks so I got turned off and switched to GH instead.

Mine's 374 na today. it's like 2-3x more ang pagcount ng tinakbo ng m3 against sa actual distance travelled. I have listed all the places I have travelled since I got it and checked google for distance from A to B, vice versa. And I computed at 192; I include allowance or buffer of +50km. so that's about 242km....

therefore, sobra ng mga 130+ km reading.

I asked...New bumpers only come primed....the dealership still needs to do the painting themselves.
I get where the disappointment is coming from. Though difficult to bottle my OCD, I exercise expectation/tolerance management to max satisfaction. & oh, I can very well relate to what the good sir, balong, drove at...Everyone hates malice. It just always leaves that bad taste in the mouth...

A similar bumper experience happened to my OCD buddy...on his MX5. Prior to shipping to the local dealership from another up in the capital, the car was PDI'd perfect w/ him as witness. Upon arrival, the front had a chip & some scratches up the grille fascia that weren''t there before....obviously, from shipping. The dealership was open to touching it up free. He was thinking of getting a new bumper at personal expense but backtracked after learning panel parts ordered only come primed w/o the soul red. After some serious discernment, he tamed himself to live with it. The car is just as awesome as perfect. We all know some first scratch will always come.....His was just unexpectedly way sooner.

In the end & the big picture, bumpers are what they are...for bumping protection. They don't make nor break the car. I'd try to squeeze some good will, but not count on any...& be appreciative of getting no less than an M3.

It may be easier said than done, but even this OCD has long realized.... Material things are meant to serve happiness, not enslave to the point of misery....Again, just my humble 2cents, brothahs.

This must be checked & recalibrated ASAP. I'm one who's constantly checking distances for gas comsumption & navigation. Vital, but I'm sure this is minor. I know mine is accurate as my regular routes are pretty routine & readings relatively compared w/ other cars have been about identical....
Your odo is running like your 3 is on what, 10" wheels?

Happy Monday fellow Mz3 owners and Tsikoteers! It's been quite a while since I last accessed Tsikot. Hate that I had to remove the app coz it's no longer working on my phone. Anyhow, I'd like to share my Mz3 recently detailed by our fellow Tsikoteer *justdiy.

First off, hats off to this guy for he knows what he's doing. His work is truly remarkable and I highly recommend his services at a very reasonable cost. What I can tell you is that he assesses your car's condition then will give you an honest judgment and recommendation on what is to be done with your car. Rarely do we find professional detailers who provide an honest feedback and won't overcharge you with their services. I was quoted for a price and had an agreement on how much I need to pay. Then he assessed my car's condition and said that all i have to avail is paint cleaning and sealing. Voila! Was supposed to be a two-day detailing session but ended up to be a one day detailing job for Technical Details! What surprised me was he only charged a fraction of our agreed amount! Best part of it was I had free meals! Where else can you find a detailing shop with free meals and very accommodating folks?!?

Without further ado, please see Technical Details' work:

Then I decided to switch back to my LC818 yesterday:

Who wouldn't want their cars not to look this good? Thanks *justdiy for making my car look great again!

While enroute to a short 2km trip, I observed a very faint thudding noise on the wheels, noticeable only when I muted the radio. Tires looked good on visual inspection. Eventually sound went away on return trip. I'm not sure if the loud popping lagutok when I was backing out from the garage is related.

Before any of the above, got the wheels wet during DYI carwash, about a week ago before driving again. I always leave the e-brake disengaged when parked at home. Running on stock 16s with just 5k+ in the odo.

Any Mown3r experienced this? Should I have this checked?

    Regards,
    The hobo

Whoah!!! The detailing just brought Sylvie to a level I never knew it could be taken. Coming from an OCD guy like Geo, this is something. I wish Technical Details were local to me. One big plus is justdiy, being a keen eyed Mown3r, knows the M3 inside out...& modding, too.
To Geo_S & justdiy...GRATs to an even more awesoM3 car & beautiful work, respectively!

May na spot ako dalwang tuklap(small circular 2mm in diameter) sa front bumper. Maybe due to asphalt bits hitting my bumper on the expressway. What's the better option to protect the paint?

    Optiguard

    or

xpel(expensive, suits well on luxury cars)

Partial xpel clear bra your front...don't do entire car.

I went to mazda GH this morning. I reported odo issue and I submitted a list of trips w/ est distance travelled. I spoke with the tech sup and he was stunned that odo is too fast and he said it's the 1st time they encountered such case. I mentioned that it may not be an isolated case as someone else also had similar incident. As of now, they asked me to observe first and according to them they will take note of this issue. I told them to have it escalated to Berjaya or Mazda Japan. No solution provided as of now; just observe... I just took hold of the case/report copy and will come back again for the 1k checkup. No choice but just hope for the best...
