I think it's nice. The grill is still a bit too big though, but overall, it's a good design.

Free from the clutches of Ford, Mazda is now an independent brand with its own distributor. One of the earliest things they could do is to rectify the problem with the current Mazda3: the engine. Yes, the 148 horsepower 2.0-liter is alright and all, but you can’t help but feel that the entire drivetrain just feels so old. Enter the magic of SKYACTIV. In other countries, the 3 is already powered by a brand-new 2.0-liter SKACTIV engine, so bringing it into the Philippines should make a lot of sense. What’s more, the 155 horsepower engine is mated to a choice of six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. If ever the Mazda3 SKYACTIV does arrive, expect a minor exterior refresh and a price adjustment (hopefully downward) to go with it.
