2007 Kia Carens [ARCHIVE]

Hi Yagbolz. Hindi me yun, definitely another silver carens yun. Wala pa me license plate kaya di muna me naglalalabas ngayon. Hintay ko na lang muna yung plate. Hope to see you on the road when you get your carens. I always honk when I see another carens.

Ibig sabihin pala there are more carens owner sa cavite na hindi pa naliligaw dito, Me, hopely ma release na unit ko today , commute lang ako ngayon eh...ang hirap. nabenta kona kasi yung isa kong ride, tsaga-tsaga lang...no choice naman eh kundi mag hintay.

I'll be using it na, even wala pa syang license plate...bakit delikado ba?. u have atleast a week to use it naman diba as long na you have with you your invoice and a letter or something from the dealer....and sabi nila they are going to give me 2 set para 2 weeks ko sya magamit without a plate. in time for the release of my plate.....sabi nila mabilis na daw ngaun 1 week lang release na ito.

Sir Sabi sa akin sa Kia greenhills, you can changes your tire till 17"....and your warranty will not be affected...totoo ba yun o sales gimmick lang?. better to be sure than sorry.

What will you be getting bro?

In our company, car dealers are now being required to deliver the new units only when the license plates are already available. Ayaw na ng Fleet namin to deal with possible problems with the MMDA and such because of no plates...

Kudos to Kia Pasig though... last week lang na-approve yung purchase ko, and mukhang makukuha ko na yung unit ko tomorrow WITH license plates.

17 sa US yun e. pero here in our outdated country bawal nga magupgrade from 15 to 16 e sabi nila mavovoid daw warranty. so kung lx ka 15 pa din lalagay mo

Yeah, this is actually very frustrating. I would want to eventually upgrade mine to 17s because it really looks better (and since it's actually being used in the US, I would assume that the ride quality won't be affected). BUT, it appears that Kia locally is a bit narrow-minded about this whole matter...

As long as it's not stated in the warranty that changing tire size to 17" will void it, pwede yan. Pero just to make sure, wag mo na lang benta ung orig wheels mo para pag mag claim ka ng warranty sa suspension, balik mo lang ito..

I would like to join here. I have a carens crdi almond beige. I have changed my mags to 17". I'm from Gentri cavite. I would like to post the picture but I don't know how. Pano ba?

ive been contemplating of this from the time i decided to get a carens, the low ground clearance is the only negative thing i can complain about the carens, other than that, the car offers the best bang for the buck
paki post naman sir ng pix, hw much po ba without the installation? probinsya pa po kc ako. TIA
BTW, i also intend to lift the front...wud b really grateful if u can help me on this. I hav frequent trips out of town kc and the roads here are quite bad, may scrape na nga unit ko sa lower part ng front bumper

Please read the other tread. I posted some pics there. I didn't lift the front. I just changed mags to 17s (I think 16s is ok) and a little bit bigger tire. Overall my front maybe has increased by 1" and maybe 2.5" in the rear with the spacer. Since then I don't have problems in ground clearance. Of course yung mga normal damaged roads lang, di naman kasi pang off road and Carens eh. Hope this helps.

Hi guys. Im anxiously awaiting for my turn to get a Carens. Just waiting for a buyer of my present ride. Anyway, i was wondering if any of you had replaced the halogen bulb in the projector headlights of the carens with HIDs. Im quite curious if it works well and doesn't produce glare to oncoming traffic? I intend to have my future carens fitted with HIDs.
Also, what is the size of the bulbs of the reflector (non projector) headlights of the carens?

Actually, the unit with license plates is already ready for delivery. Kaso, may internal documentation kami sa company na kailangang ma-complete muna before they give the go-signal to the dealer for delivery. Pero, hopefully, today is the day.

Nakakahiya din kasi sa Kia Pasig kasi kailangan na daw nila yung demo units so they're really hoping that they can deliver our actual units by today. Will keep you posted, guys.

Yup, I never fail to vote every single day. And every single day, I keep hoping that we'll close the gap between the Civic and the Carens... Let's persevere until the close of voting in November and we might just make it, guys!

I was looking through the Kia website and I noticed something funny.... it appears that Kia did push through with the price increase as already stated here in the forum BUT it looks like the price increase only affected the CRDi models. From what I can see on the online pricelist, the gas EX A/T remains at P1,005,000 - which was its price even before the price increase.

Parang ang pangit naman tingnan... halatang halata na tinaasan lang yung models and variants na feeling nila na mabenta...
