Ooops... Sorry for this mistake. Tucson has a 1796mm width only. I want to clarify that Tucson has a wider rear door opening (NOT rear door nor body width); 110cm for carens vs 115cm for tucson. Reason I say this is becuz the carens strap for securing a flat tire at the rear storage does not reach strap hooks on the sides.

Interested ako sa Carens, nagtataka lang ako kung bakit may nawalang features, hindi ba dapat bumaba pa price dahil malakas ang peso ngayon?

Anyway, nagpapa test drive ba lahat ng dealers? Thanks!

Yes, I believe all dealers offer a test drive. Although, depending on the dealer, you might have to schedule this to make sure that a testdrive vehicle is ready when you walk in.

As for me, I was able to immediately testdrive the Carens when I walked into Kia Novaliches. With Kia Signet, I talked with bro ace8tan (here in the forums) to arrange a testdrive when I visited his dealership. With Kia Libis naman, I went there to check out the Carens but I was requested to go back for the testdrive since their testdrive vehicle was not there when I walked in the first time.

But for sure, you'll be able to testdrive this beauty with all dealers. In fact, if you're lucky (like some of our members here), you might even be allowed to testdrive the Carens for several days! I wasn't as lucky but that's okay.

    Thanks!

Sa mga nakapag test drive for a few days, pahingi naman names and contact details nung dealer/agents niyo. Trying it out for a few days would really help me decide! Thanks!

Kia Sgt Esguerra lent me their Carens for about 7 days. I felt kinda sad that I did not get it and opted to get an Innova but their management is very reasonable. No commitment, no ties whatsoever. Thats where I discovered I wanted something else but Carens is also a good choice.

ricky, my dad's old car plate was AAS-200. pangasinan kasi kami so sa region 1 start mga A...

medyo mahal talaga thule pero sila lang alam ko may box. i'm trying to avoid getting the usual luggage tray. maliban sa parang hindi bagay at hindi aerodynamic, the box would prevent stuff from getting wet or dirty. although i'm not sure kasi kung may ibang brands na merong similar product like thule's...

Ah ok. Akala ko the LTO will simply re-start the 3-letter/3-digit license plate system....

Well... no rush for me to get a roof carrier... besides, I still don't know when the heck my car plan will be approved... nakaka-inip talaga...

By the way, has anyone installed a roof rack on their Carens already?[/quote]

guys, share ko lng pix unit ko. Installed a carryboy roofrack, opted for this one since this is by far the most practical choice for me, price wise
A matter of gettin used to sa looks, but as to use and functionality it serves me well.
BTW, has anyone donned his/her unit with leather seat covers? paki post naman pix...tnx n happy motoring to all

That looks nice bro! How much is a carryboy roofrack? Also, since your Carens is an LX, you had roofrails installed? How much? Doesnt that void the warranty though?

Ako din, I want to see someone's leather seatcovers.
