pitstop only gives a 10k discount. Hari is giving a 30-40k discount so the price diff is around 70-80k. With Hari madami freebies na inooffer. Sana malakihan man lang ng pitstop and price diff nila.With the accessories naman halos yung iba diff I can live even without them Yung seating arrangement and rear wiper ang interisado lang talaga ako na wala sa lower model ng Hari at wala din yung wiper sa pitstop.jay

sir yung cvx po ba same lang ng sound system(head unit) ng hvx? may controls na rin po ba yun sa steering wheel?

so 200k po pala ang price difference ng hvx sa cvx, worth it naman po ba yung 200k para sa hvx?

Thanks to both of you. Medyo inclined ako sa HARI, because when I visited Pitstop yesterday, I found out that Donald owns the company. I remember before na he used to manage ASPAC motors, where I got my current CRDi Starex. I had this experience with him (and with ASPAC) na me 2" crack ako nakita sa windshield ko (near the rear view mirror) 1 week after I took home the vehicle. So when I complained, Donald said that they will not replace the windshield because he thinks that it's not a factory defect (or it's not their fault) kasi I signed the "all is OK, received the vehicle in good condition" sheet. Baka daw sa amin nasira, eh wala naman nagyari sa starex ko for a week; at sino ba naman ang mag inspect every inch ng vehicle na brand new. He suggested na ipasok ko na lang daw sa insurance with me paying the participation fee of course. Wala na ko pera that time so I just left and had the widshield "repaired" a few weeks later. Tumagal naman yung repaired windshield, mga 3 years siguro, until nung nakapark sa tapat ng bahay namin, me nag bounce (gently lang) ng bola ng basketball, then, totally, nag crack na yung windshield ng malaki. I had it replaced sa Aguila glass na lang.

Ano kaya kung sa HARI nangyari to, papalitan kaya nila free of charge yung windshield na me crack?

Most probably e palitan nila... Sa amin nga po STAREX e palit sila ng palit everytime may problema STAREX namin e.Last na pinalitan nila e ang buong front wiring harness kasi paulit-ulit napupundi ang Aux Fan namin & nung pinalitan po nila ito e out of warranty na unit namin pero Free pa rin po nila ginawa.

it's good to know naman kung ganun. Front wiring harness? Kaya ba sinasabi mo na "lemon" yung napunta sa yo na unit?. I remember, napaltan ko na rin yung computer box ko.

Went to Pitstop and Hari yesterday and compared the Gold and HVX units head to head and came down to the ff conclusion:

1. Leather Seats. Pitstop allows for an upgrade to leather seats without the spectacularly useless sunroof. Price is: P1.79M. So, it comes out 52k for the leather seats.

2. Captain Seats. The biggest advantage of Pitstop is their 3rd row is Captain seats + the "disposable" 4th row, pwede nang pang school bus.

3. Pitstop Weaknesses/Strengths (depends on your POV):

• Soundsystem has NO remote. Because may remote sa steering wheel, I guess because hindi uso driver sa Korea.
• Price is kinda steep. It's like your paying for all the little features (electronic side mirror control, Body color door handles, 17" wheels etc). Or unit is "loaded" with lotsa features, depends really on how you see it.
• 2 year less warranty. Basically its features vs. 2 additional year warranty, as I see it. But I applaud Pitstop for their courageous 3 year warranty. Why do people still buy from Standout? I guess a bit of ignorance.

4. HARI Weaknesses. The biggest "small" irritant is I guess the center-of-everybody's-attention the antenna, I guess, this can be solved by just taking it out or replacing it with those small rubber ones. I hardly listen to the radio anyway. I guess another weakness would be the 3rd row bench (vs. Pitstop's Captain seats) of HARI is not reclineable, the agent mentioned that Seatmate can take care of this for a reasonable 3k, anybody can confirm this? Most of my time will be spent sitting on the 2nd row anyway and the kids won't mind the bench since they have so much leg, er body room.

5. LCD + ESP = WIN. The biggest plus of the HARI unit now I guess is the 10" LCD screen. And in terms of safety, the ESP is a huge value add (either that or its just marketing hype, tapos nadadala lang ako). According to the agent, it electronically controls (brakes) individual tires to minimize tail spins in emergency situations. The front row also has a center seat so 3 passengers fit in front while Pitsop's model sits only 2 pax in front.

Flooring + Interior. I spoke with Donald of Pitstop and he mentioned that all our beige interior, meaning only the mid models have the black interiors? There was an earlier post that he bought with black/dark interiors. Ano ba itsura ng linoleum flooring? all the flooring that I saw were just black carper/cloth like flooring.

No more maroon daw for Pitstop, only black, silver, icy blue and white.

I am assuming that I will eventually get the same discount for the Gold variant from HARI that I got from their swivel model, so their price will actually be VERY attractive to me.

As of the moment, HARI wins for me and my needs.

2. dahil sa seats config sir.. laki ng talo sa local version siguro naman nakita nyo na local for sure po..kase even with manual tranny sa pitstop you can order the 11 seaters ( driver & passenger captain seat) at the same price.. no additional payment exactly the same seat config with HVX..big advantage na yung comfort there specially for the driver.. very spacious parang kahit 1 whole day ka drive ay effortless..

kahit yung 1.648 M ng HARI hindi papantay sa 1.550 M ni pitstop
i assure you when it comes to seats..
plus 100 thou pa ke hari if you want ganun sa seats ni Pitstop.. san ka pa.

never na may negraklamo regarding the static discharge etc sa unit nila..
and sabi nila expert na sila sa starex kase STAREX ang buhay nila..

[SIZE=3]This just sounds to me like plain old paninira to me. I'm sure Hyundai as a company has certain international standards for all the units that they sell out. To assume that one being sold in Korea is "better" than the one Hyundai Philippines sells is just plain 80's colonial mentality. I think suppliers should compete on value, features, service and price. I don't think it's nice to compete on this level, since they're all selling Hyundai anyway. Basta panis na mga kotse ng hapon, like Samsung has far out trumped Sony, Hyundai will pretty soon let Toyota eat its dust.[/SIZE]

For me lang naman sir.. im sure magiging driver din ako.. Having a captain seat for driver with right arm rest is more comfortable... feel ko lang sir na minsan naka rest yung right arm tapos left arm nasa steering wheel pag bagal lang takbo.. hehe
plus the added extra space between driver and front passenger..
pwede maglagay gamit etc.. para accessible anytime..
even the front passenger can go to the back without going out or may be even car is running hehe

Kase base po sir sa 1.648 M po na price ni HARI with swivel seats and 3rd row bench type and CVX na 1.550 M with same seat config & material used ng HVX.. "Better" po yung sa pitstop.. pag inalis yung bench type ng CVX, yung 4 seats sa likod ay pwede na recline and move.. plus the front 2 captain seats..
me center console option pa 3rd row like the 2nd row..
so me leg room na rin pwede gawing play area ..

kaya decided na po kami sa cvx.. rear wiper lang talaga at another 2 years warranty (like HARI offered) ang inaasam asam namin..
