Guys, if ever you plan on purchasing a starex unit from AUTO ACCESS, AVOID GHIE SANTOS IMPERIO, napaka arrogante. Kala mo siya na may ari kung makabastos sa mga buyer. Magtatanong ka lang kung may available silang unit, galit pa sa buyer to think na sure buyer ako. ito ang ni feed back niya sakin sa sulit.com nung mag iwan ako ng negative feedback sa account niya.

I believe it is.... 2005-2007 is Gen3 (bug-eyed); 2007-present is Grand Starex... I've owned and driven the Gen3(acquired Oct2004) and currently, the GS (acquired Oct2009) and I'd say that with proper maintenance, they should serve you well....

Im new in Tsikot Forum, mga Sirs patulong naman. Just replaced my dirty fuel filter last week, after replacement it noticed in hard restarting for almost 1 day used. On the second day in the morning I started my Starex CRDI 2005 model and won't start until now. What are the possible defects since the fuel filter had been replaced with new one? I pump the fuel filter pump just to remove the air bubbles, there's a fuel going to fuel pump. During starting, there’s a low pressure getting in to injectors. And today during push starting it will start with white smoke but I wonder the engine check indicates in the dashboard, my starex before is in top condition, the 100% caused is a dirty fuel filter. Please help me of what are the specific defects with my crdi engine. Your assistance is high appreciated. Thanks and more power

Nuong mangyari ang problema,- tumatakbo ka ba o nadiskubre mo lang nuong mag-start ka ng sasakyan? Nakita mo bang marumi talaga ang fuel filter ng iyong sasakyan? Nagpakarga ka ba before sa isang gasolinahan na hindi mo regular na pinupuntahan?

Sinasabi mo bang naka-on pa rin ang "check engine" lamp kahit tumatakbo na ang makina? Kapag ini-andar mo,- normal lang ba ang takbo o parang pigil na kahit na anong tapak mo sa gasolina ay mabagal pa rin?(limp mode)?

Thanks may nag-reply din. Yes bro CVT, 1st owner me, 52K palang mileage starex ko. One in the morning I discover na hard starting sya, I pump the fuel pump pero hindi tumitigas, so suspect ko agad fuel filter barado, pinalitan ko agad. The old fuel filter barado nga sobrang dumi. Sa Petron Xmax lang me nagpapakarga, siguro naglose track me sa fuel filter, sobrang busy kasi last few months ago kaya forget ko na PMS starex ko, gamit lang me ng gamit. Pag tinulak start sya agad, lumakas ang hatak kc bago fuel filter, nakatakbo lang ako ng 80kph parang may malakas na umu-ogong na hangin sa makina tapos nag shut down and engine, buti nalang na control ko pa, tapos pagtulak andar naman sya uli, wonder lang me umilaw na engine check sa dashboard, tapos medyo mausok na puti at maanghang sa mata. Until now andar parin sya pag itulak, ang problem lang, pag battery starting ayaw talaga umandar, bumili na me new motolite gold battery pero ganun parin, lakas naman starter, bilis nga redondo, pero ayaw lang talaga magstart pag battery starting. thanks so much bro sa reply you.

For HARI Units, complete specs can be found in their HARI website. You can also find the specs in this link http://motioncars.com/; you can find gray market specs in this Hancars sulit.com page http://www.sulit.com.ph/index.php/vi...Brand+New+2011...gray market models are called CVX de luxe, CVX premium and HVX.

But not all gray market dealers have the same extra features. You will have to figure it out especially if you are not a Metro Manila resident. But definitely gray market units have more features than HARI units.

It is actually easy and simple to find these things via Google.

That's a very alarming situation you are in, considering that well recommended pa naman ang pitstop sa team hyundai phil, kaya nga pati ako sa pitstop din bumili. Medyo tricky rin kasi situation mo kasi suspension parts are involved, normally dapat talaga covered yan under warranty, in another scenario, pwede rin nila sabihing wear and tear, since naka 40k na mileage mo. Ganyan mangyayari talaga if the dealer is out to make a quick buck. If that's the case dapat talaga ipagpilitan mo na under warranty pa yan, unless proven na due to neglect kaya na damage yung part. Hmm pero rack end and tie rod? Either masyadong malubak dinadaanan mo or talagang mahina suspension ng gs natin. My gs is about a year and 2 months old and 6k palang mileage, nakakatakot naman ding isipin na ang lifespan lang ng tie rods natin is 40k lang.
