Also, paturo naman how to use the trip computer. The SA I was dealing with was on "repeat" when I was asking how to use it, baka di rin nya masyado alam.

    Maraming salamat po.
Hi, based on our manual. Any 91 RON is ok. As to coating, I think it is just the same. Just different brand being used but almost the same output. I still have not yet applied any coating on my FC, just regular carwash and wax. But Im planning to have it applied with Gtechniq soon.

That said, to answer your question, probably head to the shiny new manual you have hehe.

(I don't own an FC Civic, can't answer your question)
Yep, I understand. Kaya I didn't press the SA narin. I told myself na I'll ask or research nalang about it.

10.5k for 5 year protection at Optimum Impressions. While 7.5k for 3 year protection.

I think Protech carhub is also ok. 17k for regular price. Not sure if they still have that Php8k promo.

What do you want to do with the trip computer?

Just press the "i" button on the left side of your steering wheel then click the left or right buttons to cycle through the different menus - average consumption, average speed, music, etc. Long press on the stalk right beside your speedometer to reset the trip meter.

3 months sa akin. Depende sa mode of payment. Pag loan ka medyo mabilis, lalo na pag in house lahat. Masmalaki tongpats eh. Kaya mabilis pa sa alas kwatro. Hehe. Next naman na problem is the or and cr, 3 weeks daw.

I want to measure for Fuel Consumption sir. 1 day old palang yung Civic ko, it is still running dun sa free gas from the dealer. Ang nabasa ko kasi dito sa forums is nagfufull-tank muna sila then use the trip computer to measure the fuel consumption.

So sir, pag nagpafull tank na po ako, i-rereset ko yung trip A or B tapus just check pag paubos na yung fuel or on my next refuel?

I just want to check what other Civic owners use. Makikigaya nalang ako.

I used both XCS (95)and xtra unleaded (91) for a couple of full tanks and i dont see any difference especially if you are always doing city driving. Hence, I just stick now with 91 octane.

So was choosing between the Altis and Civic. Went to different dealers yesterday, the Altis really doesn't really hold a candle to the Honda in terms of looks inside and out. Was with my mother and she really wanted the Civic lol. Didn't help that the 2-18 Altis 1.6 variants only had that horrible brown/beige interior color.

Have to schedule a test drive for the Civic though, maybe next week.

Now doing research on fuel consumption, is it correct that the Altis 1.6 G/V and Civic 1.8 E have comparable fuel consumption given the same conditions? How does the Civic compare to the City? Is it a night and day difference. Based on the numbers I have below 12% better ang City vs Civic, which translate to around 2.2k yearly difference given my work to home route (for me this price difference is negligible).

Been basing the FC's I have on ************ reviews:

    2017 Civic 1.8 E - 8.78 km/L * 16 km/h
    2017 Altis 2.0 V 7.93 km/L * 13 km/h (I'm assuming the 1.6 V/G variant would be a bit more economical)
    2018 Honda City 1.5 VX Navi 9.82 km/L * 12 km/h

I'll mostly be using the car for city driving going to from work and going out on weekends, maybe the occasional road trip with a few people.

Personally, the Civic is my choice but a bit hesitant on the fuel consumption (before this my preconception on the CIVIC that it liked drinking alot of gas ).

My driving style btw is tame no fast acceleration and no hard braking. I've never driven out of the city, not sure how I'd fare driving in express ways/provincial roads.

Hoping to get input from the Civic 1.8 E owners here, how is your FC. Better than expected, below or just right? Does eco mode help? Help me decide heheh

Hello. Anyone got freebies aside from the usual (tint, matting, 10L gas)? SA is giving me free 'additional' rust proofing + full windshield tint. Waiting game na din ako to get a rallye red. [emoji5]

Good deal na yan sir. Ung windshield full tint they usually charge 3k for that pag pinabuo mo. Pwede na din.

my car (non-honda) is simple. and this is what i do.
i wait for the low fuel icon warning light to turn on. then i fill up and reset to zero.
i read the numbers and make the computations if i have to, when the low fuel icon lights up again.

    1. Fill up with a full tank (automatic)
    2. Reset your trip A by pressing the button on the gauge
    3. Log your odometer reading for manual tracking
    4. Drive around until your fuel gauge dips below 1/2
    5. Fill up again with a full tank, take note of how many liters were filled
    6. Log your odometer reading again.
    7. Subtract ending odometer reading with starting odometer reading to get total km travelled
    8. Divide total km travelled by total liters filled up
    9. Compare manual computation with the trip computer's computation
