Matagal ng resolved ung woodpecker sound, I was just an update sa ECU.

I think 2018 models are not affected anymore.

Yes may update ang HU natin pero not OTA. You have to plug in a USB stick that contains the update.

You can get it sa EBAY or ask the CASA to update it for you.

My AA still works kahit 9.0 na phone ko.

Sorry for the dumb question but where can I download the latest update for our HU without losing warranty?

So does this mean that the problem isn't really from the power steering gearbox?

Assumption ko kasi average 40kph, if he does 80, that's about 4.5 - 6 hours a day, medyo hataw na pacing ito if your line of work is not directly related to the driving itself. Parang kaming mga ahente, we are always reminded to make our trips worthwhile lest we drive most of the time and wala namang benta

People complain about FC yet they look for performance. If you want your NA car to go faster, then floor that gas pedal to get to 6k rpm. If still not enough, get a car with a bigger or more powerful engine.

It has been some time since I let the VTEC roar from a Honda engine. Medyo hesitant yung bayaw ko ipahiram yung Civic RS nya sa akin.

Last weekend, I took the chance to let the MIVEC 4B11 roar a bit on SCTEX.

Noob question mga sir. Just got the 1.8E and when i drive slowly (5-10kph) may “kadyot” siya when the brake hold is engaged during acceleration. Normal lang po ba ito?

    Salamat po

Either it's not normal or your description is wrong.

Apologies if it’s vague. To elaborate, during start-stop traffic I feel like there’s a delay before the brake hold kicks in hence, the “kadyot” analogy. What I understand is it should activate during a complete stop. But since the situation requires a quick stop and go, either it’s just catching up or it’s kicking in too soon. I’m worried that I’m doing something wrong.

Not sure if we have the same “kadyot” experience I normally have with the brake hold. but what I do, I tend to slowly push the brake til the car completely stop then wait for the feeling/sound of brake hold activating then I release my foot on the brake pedal. that way, there’s no rough, kadyot feeling on your car. i guess, there’s really a slight delay on the activation of it. on a stop n go situation especially along edsa’s heavy traffic, I dont usually activate that brake hold button.

Ah, tama yung replies. Wala siyang delay actually, but the vehicle should be 100% stopped before it holds for you.

It's not automatically braking for you anyway.

Masasanay ka din sa timing on when you can let go of the brake pedal. And as soon as (A) indicator turns on sa dash, you can immediately remove your foot hehe.

SA called today re:LTO plate ending. Kasama daw sa requirements ng LTO ung OR/CR of my other car to justify the requested plate number ending. Is this true? Mejo hindi ako comfortable magbigay ng info of my other car kasi hindi naman same make and model. Naexperience niyo din ba ito?

    I don't find the Civic to be a gas-guzzler considering it has a 1.8L 141 hp engine.

It consumes the same as my old Altis which only had a 1.6L engine and a 6-speed MT. It even has better highway mileage than a 1.3L Vios (had both MT and AT). And it's certainly more efficient than other cars with similar power (my Mazda 3 and CRV are far thirstier at the pump).

Yup, agree with this. I was actually expecting worse figures. Nasanay lang siguro ako sa FC ng Mirage
