Pass warranty na civic ko, what oil do yu use now outside Casa? I'm eyeing for shell, Are shell oils any good?

shell oils are good. as long as within spec sa manual ok iyan. that being said madami ding good other oils available for your fd mas affordable. just out from the top of my head zic, kix, etc...

literal ba na cvt filter nakalagay sa quotation? oil filter, fuel strainer lang ang sa filter nakalagay. then engine oil and ung hcf2. hindi ba kasama ang cvt filter pag pinapalitan transmission fluid? and every ilang years po pinapacheck/replace yan? sabihan ko na lang din si SA about jan. ty

sr, kapag ba minsan maganda takbo ko pag tinatiming ko apak dahan2x, then minsan naman parang walang hatak possible na mga filter lang ang problema at hindi talaga ang transmission?
may times kasi na konting apak kahit sa D lang matulin and ramdam ko ung response pag dinidiin ko. may times din na first parang responsive pag dahan2x tapos habang dinidiin ko para mag gain ng speed para siyang umuungol lang pero ramdam ko na walang power/hatak. mostly hindi talaga consistent takbo ko. normal lang ba yung ganyan sa cvt trans?ty!!

Either CVT/transmission filter. Based on research and videos napanood ko every 50k kms interval. I'm not just sure why casa didn't suggest to replace during PMS since I've reached 60k kms naman when I left them.

Please enlighten me. Ano pagkakaiba ng CVT fluid sa Automatic transmission fluid? I know we use the HCF-2 as CVT fluid, other than that may iba pa bang fluid pinapalitan in relation to transmission?

Different trannies use different fluids. An automatic transmission is different in construction and design compared to a dual-clutch transmission (DCT) to a continuous variable transmission (CVT).

If you have an AWD or 4x4 vehicle, you also need to change differential fluid when changing transmission fluid.

We have the same year model. EPS got replaced also. Ganito din yung AC ko. Driver side vents are blowing hot air but passenger side is cold. Did you have problems after the compressor replacement?

Share lang my 2018 Civic nawalan ng lamig sa driver side vent. Intermittent siya and when it happens may hissing sound sa engine bay/compressor area.

Papunta sa casa malamig wala problem, but byahe nung weekend may problema.

Diagnosis nila palit compressor and tensioner pulley/bearing. 150 H / 30 L ang freon pressure at idle, normal daw at wala leak.

Magagamit ko na extended warranty sa wakas!

But this is probably my last Honda. Nung una pinalitan EPS gearbox under warranty din. Worth 80k din yon.

Nagka-issue din AC ko last month lang while travelling north. Bigla nawala lamig then after few hours nakapagpahinga engine gumana ulit but after 1 hour hot air na lang cia. The next day pina-check ko sa AC specialist ang findings hindi nag-oopen expansion valve. They replaced it and recharge the freon. It costs me 6k.

just seen a 10th gen cross 200,000 miles on reddit. is this a unicorn or has the cvt been proven reliable na? replacing my FD2 with an FC crosses my mind too damn much lately haha

nagpapalit kasi buong air filter housing then pagcheck ko sa bahay may parang missing bolt. thank you!!

From the 2nd pic it seems wala since madumi siya. If may bolt dyan before, makinis/malinis dapat thread niyan sa loob.
